The Central Valley can be a difficult place for succulents to thrive.  Read our guide to selecting succulents that can be successful in extreme conditions.  Dudleya is a genus of succulents endemic (only native here!) to California and Mexico. Succulents develop dazzling colors as a response to colder temperatures as well as other environmental stresses like changes in water and light during the winter months. With local restrictions lifting on nurseries, it is finally time to say Welcome Back!As we begin this process of reopening, the safety of our staff and community is of the utmost importance. Please be patient with us as we will be implementing new guidelines and precautions for visiting our nursery.  We will be reopening with limited business hours and staff on:Friday, May 15thUpdated Business Hours:Monday - Sunday9:00am - 3:00pmNew Guidelines: -Everyone must be wearing a mask when visiting, whether inside or outside of the greenhouse (we will not be providing masks so please bring your own)-We are NOT ACCEPTING CASH (Credit or Debit Cards ONLY)-Please maintain a distance of 6 feet between yourself, others and staff while exploring our nursery-We will not be permitting the use of our carts or baskets, so please bring your own or we will provide you with boxes to hold your selectionsWhen you ARRIVE at the nursery:- Our parking lot will be CLOSED so please park across the street on Elkhorn Rd. and DO NOT park on Amaral (please call us ahead of time if you have a Handicapped sticker and need to park closer)-We will only be allowing 20 people in the nursery at one time-If the front greenhouse is chained closed, we have reached capacity so please line up in the parking lot next to the cones- We will have a designated spot for picking up your plants once you have finished shopping-We are limiting shopping time to one hour if there are people waitingThank you for working with us as we navigate these strange times.
