Lions News Jun 4 Fisher, Pernell Named to the Greater Cleveland Coaches Association All-Star Team PJ Fisher (Mercyhurst University Football Signee) and Brian Pernell (Clairon University Football Signee ) will be facing off against eachother next year as rivals in the Pennsylvania State Atletic Conference, however, PJ and Brian served as teammates and leaders in the Orange Football program over the past 4 years together.  They were recently honored by Senior Spring Student-Athlete of today is: Jared Kochis Jared s favorite part/experience being on our baseball team:Getting a hit first varsity at bat against Perry. And spring break with the boys Jared s advice to underclassmen:You never know what might happen so always play as hard as you can and have no regrets.  Senior Spring Student-Athlete of today is: Alex Cohen Alex s favorite part/experience being on our baseball team: Spring break trips with the team Alex s advice to underclassmen: Enjoy it all because one day it will all be over. Senior Spring Student-Athlete of today is: Jessica Hudson-Turpin Jesseca s favorite part/experience being on our track team: My favorite experience out of both of my past seasons was when we all went down to states my junior year and our group made it so fun, especially since it was my birthday. Ryan s Advice to underclassmen: Take advantage of playing. You never know when it s going to end. Alex s advice to underclassmen: Always come ready to put 100% effort and be there for your teammates. Senior Spring Student-Athlete of today is: Kennedy Vickers Kennedy s favorite part/experience of being on our track team: The bonds you make with your teammates, its like a small family! I love cheering my peers on and seeing them do great things. Even getting to know athletes from other schools is a great experience that I Senior Spring Student-Athlete of today is: Jacob Coluby Jacob s favorite part/experience about being on our lacrosse team: Playoff win against Chardon that sent us to compete against US. Jacob s advice to underclassmen: Trust the process, do the little things, stay hungry for more. Senior Spring Student-Athlete of today is: Yahya Basharat Yahya s favorite part/experience about being on our lacrosse team: Huge playoff win against Chardon, whom we lost to earlier in the season in the first round. Yahya s advice to underclassmen: Prove everyone wrong. Senior Spring Student-Athlete of today is: Brian Pernell Brain s favorite part/experience being on our track team: Winning conference in the 300 hurdles and breaking the school record in the 4 4 states. Brain s advice to underclassmen: Set goals for yourself, work when no one else is watching. And don t be afraid to be great.
