As of yet, no response of any resolve. It is impossible to get a hold of a real person at Menards.... Unfortunely the employee that accepted the tip violated store policy that was why she was let go. When she was hired she was informwd of the policies and I understand Fred was just trying to show his appreciation for helping him but that doesnt mean the rules get bent for her.She shouldnt have accepted the tip and instead told Fred if he wanted to show appreciation for her doing what she gets paid to do he should inform the General Manager of how she went above and beyond for him then she would of possibly been awarded by recieve employee of the week award. It is a company policy regardless if it seems fair or not. Much to my dismay and disatisfaction, when shopping at your store in carpentersville, il on November 30, 2011, I find that menards discontinued military discounts. All the other home improvement stores like Home Depot and Lowe s make that discount available. ... I want to make a Menards payment through my capital one app but I cannot get my Menards card to connect to that app! I'm highly disappointed with the store. I purchased about $800 plus items from my local store last month. I happened to misplaced my receipt together with my rebate paper. The store, customer service and capital one are all giving me the run around. They said they couldn't help me and I think there is something the store could do because I spent close to $900 and rebate is about $100 plus. Nope. Please let me know It would be a big time saver if they processed them on-line but you have to mail them. No need to go to the post office. Just put your rebate out with your outgoing mail or drop them in a mail box. I ordered a bathroom door April 1 was supposed to ship in three weeks got six different ship dates by June 5 I was done. They had given me another ship date of June 17.I called the store to get my money back and they only gave me a portion of it.They said the other part of the money would be in a rebate when I bought something they were 41.19 short. My husband had just given me two one hundred dollar bills that morning as part of a birthday gift. I got up to the register and happily handed over both bills to the cashier.
