It is intended to provide structure and support during a TEMPORARY REMOTE START. Teachers have the discretion to adjust the format times as needed. JICHS will begin the school year in a temporary remote instruction mode with no more than 25% of students attending school on a given day. As a default, all students will learn from home or virtually. At this time, the 25% capacity maximum allows us to create learning plans for students with exceptional needs and students who disengaged last spring or have other risk factors. This also allows us to do required MAP testing for all 9th-grade students within the first ten days of school. Again, all other students will begin school in a temporary remote mode.
