Over 200 senior researchers across the United States have been supported by the Interagency Education Research Initiative (IERI) to learn the conditions under which exemplary educational interventions improve student learning outcomes in reading, mathematics, and science. The Data Research and Development Center (DRDC) is a research and technical center funded by the U.S. Federal Government s Interagency Education Research Initiative. As a research center, we work to understand the factors that are essential for scaling-up promising educational models, programs, and strategies. As a technical center, we work to identify and develop plans to address the methodological and other challenges that arise when conducting research on scaling. DRDC conducts research that complements its technical support and capacity building missions. Click here to learn more about the range of topics studied and resources produced.
