We support humanitarian initiatives led by nonprofit organizations and educational institutions in the United States and six continents around the world.
Guided by the belief in the inherent dignity of all persons, the Pulte Family Charitable Foundation works to meet the basic human needs of the most marginalized members of the human family, including socioeconomically disadvantaged youth; the aged; persons with physical, emotional, and mental disabilities; and those with the fewest material resources.
In addition to the above, the Foundation seeks to serve religious communities and correlative organizations of Judeo-Christian beliefs. To this end, the Foundation strives to enact through its grantees the Seven Corporal Works of Mercy: feed the hungry, give drink to the thirsty; clothe the naked; care for captives; shelter the homeless; visit the sick, and assist the mourning.
AboutOur Four Areas of Giving
In accordance with the Seven Corporal Works of Mercy, we support nonprofit organizations that fall into four areas of giving:
We support nonprofit initiatives in the areas of mental and behavioral healthcare, physical healthcare, persons with disabilities, disadvantaged youth, crisis assistance, religious organizations, human trafficking, seniors, social services, and humanitarian issues.
We support educational initiatives, public and private schools, colleges, universities, trade schools, academic leadership, and research for effective, sustainable humanitarian initiatives in the United States and globally.
We support nonprofit initiatives that support clean water, sustainable water, infrastructures, and nutritional and food access programs, such as food banks, school meal programs, and agricultural solutions for hunger.
We support nonprofit initiatives that assist those experiencing homelessness, poverty, victims of domestic and family violence, victims of human trafficking, teenage single mothers, individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, veterans, disadvantaged youth, and youth in foster care.
Building on 60 years of impact
Bill Pulte was a Master Builder with a heart for world peace.
He was well known, of course, as builder of homes and the builder of a company. But really, as a philantropist, Bill Pulte was a builder of communities, goodwill, spirit, family and faith.
