FOUNDED IN 1988.

Founded by orthopaedic surgeon Dr. J. Richard Steadman, the Steadman Philippon Research Institute is an independent, tax-exempt (IRS code 501(c)(3)) charitable organization, employing scientists, researchers, fellows, visiting scholars, and interns.
