Huntersson

Huntersson has more than 20 years of experience in sound engineering, music production, party organisation, DJing and raving. As a DJ, under the name of Huntersson, he has played at festivals large and small across the world, including Burning Man (US) and Secret Garden Party (UK).

He became fascinated with the sounds of synthesizers from the very first time he heard them at the age of 4 and has immersed himself in electronic music ever since. Musical obsession has taken him through many genres, styles, sounds, noises and bass movements. His mantra is simple: keep it deep, keep it funky.

​

Over the years, the best parties have, in his view, always had one thing in common – an awesome soundsystem. In the last ten years, the name of that soundsystem has usually been Funktion-One. The prospect of bringing a large scale Funktion-One soundsystem to Singapore is the fulfilment of a lifelong ambition and testament to his devotion to bringing pleasure to people’s ears and putting candy into their heels.
