The NJDepartment of Community Affairs (DCA) and Office of Information Privacy (OIP) have announced that an online portal has launched for all covered & authorized persons to apply to have specific personal information redacted from certain government records &internet postings.

Daniel’s Law was enacted in response to the tragic death of Daniel Anderl, the son of Judge Esther Salas &Mark Anderl. The law prohibits disclosure of the residential addresses of certain persons covered by the law (“Covered Persons”) on websites controlled by state, county, and local government agencies. The community of Covered Persons includes active, formerly active, and retired judicial officers, prosecutors, and members of law enforcement and their immediate family members residing in the same household. The portal can be accessed at:www.danielslaw.nj.gov.

COURT UPDATEDue to the Covid 19 pandemic Municipal Court will now be conducted virtually/remotely to minimize exposure to COVID 19. Accordingly, all complaints, defendants, attorneys, victims are to contact the municipal court via email at susan.armbruster@njcourts.gov. or at 201-967-5044 Ext. 5720 to provide your full name, email address, and cell phone number within seven days of a court notice.
Defendants may continue to make payments for parking, traffic and certain non traffic matters through the Municipal Courts online payment system at NJMCDirect.com.

D-SNAP -Disaster Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program provides food assistance benefits to individuals and families no enrolled in SNAP who live in certain municiaplities affected by Tropical Storm Ida. Click here for more information.


SBA DISASTER LOANScan cover the difference between an insurance settlement and what is needed to fully recover. If a survivor has not settled their insurance claim, SBA will consider making a loan for the total loss up to its loan limits. The insurance settlement will be used to reduce or repay the loan.The SBA is encouraging New Jersey businesses and residents affected by the remnants of Hurricane Ida on Sept. 1-3, 2021, to submit their loan applications for physical damages even if they have not settled with their insurance company.
