Welcome to EMPA pilots
EMPA is a professional, non-profit organization, created in Antwerp in 1963 by pilots of what was then called the European Community.
Nowadays EMPA represents about 4.500 maritime pilots from 19 European countries, including Norway, Croatia, Turkey and Ukraine, regrouping member countries' associations of maritime pilots from the Baltic Sea, the North Sea, the Atlantic Ocean, the Mediterranean and the Black Sea.

Between the 26th and 29th of April 2022 the EMPA general meeting was held, it was a happy reunion with all colleagues. the main topics were the Climate crisis and Digitization and Cybersecurity.
The situation of our Ukrainian colleagues and other internal subjects was also discussed.

56th EMPA Football Tournament Warnemunde
Our organizing German Colleagues are hopeful and are preparing to organize the 56th EMPA Football tournament.
Of course, everything remains subject to change, the Covid-19 pandemic will ultimately determine whether it will actually continue.
