Children flourish in settings that allows them to be active participants. We believe that differences are enriching. Therefore, KIDS places specific value on social and emotional growth of the children; on developing self-confidence and respect for others.

What is a Co-op Initiative?

The Kindergarten is maintained by the parents on a non-profit, non-sectarian basis. The parents assist the professional teachers in and outside the classroom. Each family shares in both the business operation of the kindergarten (by serving on the Board), and the maintenance of buildings, grounds and materials, thus making it truly a cooperative venture.

How to enroll?

As we do not operate our waiting list on a first come first served basis, but rather look for the best match to the KIDS community, it is never too late to apply for a place. If you wish to apply, please register your child online for KIDS Kindergarten go to our Application Form page as well as application on Frankfurt kindernet.

Tuition and Fees

As KIDS Kindergarten is generously supported by the City of Frankfurt and the
State of Hesse, we are in the fortunate position to be able offer a kindergarten
spot tuition free. The parental fees to cover food and field trips are currently 122€ per month.
