Great LunchFirst visit after many years to the White Hart in Sherfield for lunch. We were greeted with a very friendly welcome. The bar had a good selection of beers, wines and spirits. Very nice bar menu. Our food arrived promptly, hot and beautifully cooked. We will be visiting again soon. Paul H Brilliant for a Sunday roastMy experience on Sunday, we both had a fantastic roast dinner, the meat was perfection the servings were plenty and there beer is exceptionally good. The whole atmosphere there is very good and it’s our local drinking pub and now will be a regular place to dine, we were very impressed! And on a Sunday there’s also massive Yorkshire puddings to help yourself to for free! Ames Lunch for group of 25 walkersFinding a pub that can accommodate a large group can be a challenge, but the manager of the White Hart worked with us to meet all our requirements. We had given him the list of our choices before our walk, so when we returned 2.30hrs later, they had the preparations in hand. Although we waited for about 30 minutes, everybody s food came out of the kitchen at the same time, and it was all hot. I heard no complaints and many positive comments. We travel from Bucks,Berks and Wilts. Over the last couple of years we have been meeting at this delightful Pub. We love this place. Its friendly service and excellent food bring all six of us back frequently. . Yesterdays Christmas lunch was no exception. If you want to get your Christmas started. Its a great pace to try.
