Thank you, Danielle for your continued dedication to student programming and excellence! The students and staff at St. Mary s have been busy collecting donation items and decorating as a way of sharing with others and spreading some holiday cheer! Here are just a few examples Mrs. Black- Mrs. Black and Mr. Ferrell s class ran a school-wide food and clothing drive for the local homeless shelter. This class also painted a mural depicting Boxing Day in England. This is the day after Christmas, and it is a day when people collect food and clothing for those in need.Mr. Pare- This class put together care packages for homeless people in our community. Students came together and got excited about helping others in need. Their classroom goal was to provide a few necessities and treats to those in need during this holiday season.Mr. Willey- Mr. Willey and Ms. Cross s class created holiday cards to send to the elderly population in the community. They hoped to lift the spirits of those who have been greatly impacted by Covid 19. This class painted a mural depicting a newer American holiday, Indigenous Peoples Day. This is held on the same day as Columbus Day and it is a day to celebrate the cultures and histories of the Native American Peoples.At Warren County Educational Service Center, we believe in beinga resource to our community partnerships through a holistic life span approach by:-Collaborating with school districts and communities to develop customized programming for at-risk individuals and families.-Delivering high-quality services in a cost-effective manner.-Establishing a supportive environment that promotes growth opportunities, encouragesleadership,and embraces diversity and inclusion.-Providing safe learning environments for the communities we serve.-Enhancing the quality of life for a diverse population of learners with opportunities for growth and transformation.
