Join us September 8th-11th for the 10th annual western-themed event, Silver Spurs: Hoedown for Hope presented by Wells Fargo. You are invited to a four-night live broadcast party. Each night is a short, sweet, and fun interactive activity in which guests will experience a how-to Hoedown at Home with your very own event kit which we supply, along with exploring the mission of Volunteers of America, Utah. Volunteers of America, Utah provides a bridge to self-reliance and health for vulnerable individuals and populations who struggle with homelessness, addiction and mental illness in our Wasatch Front communities. We provide year-round support for individuals living on the street through basic need items, education assistance, employment services and housing assistance. We offer acceptance, safety, and care to support individuals on their road to sobriety. We strive to reduce the impact of mental illness and to facilitate lifelong improvements in the well being of individuals and families. 197,000 meals we provided for individuals struggling with homelessness, addiction or mental illness.
