We would like to assure the public that we are in no way associated with any other group that coincidentally happens to share our initials. Since 1901, Tri Kappa's purpose has always been to bring women into close, unselfish relationship for the promotion of charity, culture and education. We encourage diversity and kindness in our chapters while bias and discrimination are not welcome in our organization. Explore Tri KappaEach year the local chapters join with the State organization to contribute approximately $1.5 million to Indiana charities and students. Since 1901, Tri Kappa members have donated untold hours and millions of dollars to projects in the state of Indiana. The main work of each chapter is to conduct special projects locally to support each of our three goals:Charity, Culture, and Education. $1.5 million raised annually, given directly to charities, cultural establishments, and deserving college students in Indiana. We currently have 91 chapter members who also volunteer at the State level to keep things running smoothly. Whatever our task may be, you can count on Tri Kappa to help lead the way to improve the lives of others and our communities.  From our humble beginnings to today, Tri Kappa is an organization where our members are committed to something bigger than themselves. Each Tri Kappa chapter and its members support charity, culture, and education through the donation of their time and talents to local organizations in their own communities. Our members perform tasks which allow under-funded and under-staffed charities to spread their limited resources even further.  By doing these little kindnesses, our members make Indiana a better place to live. We are excited you’re interested in organizing (or reorganizing) a Tri Kappa chapter in your area, and we’re here to help. All it takes is 15 interested and committed members or nonmembers and a plan in an Indiana area where Tri Kappa currently is not present.  A Chapters and Charters member will guide you every step of the way.Contact the Council President  to express your interest.  We will help you assess the interest of existing members and prospective members in your area.
