We had the most perfect day and we wouldn't have changed anything. The lead up to the wedding was made extremely easy, the recommendation of Amanda French for flowers was great as was the Harpist recommendation. The ceremony was amazing with candles, Christmas tree and a log fire. The canapes and service welcoming our guests was second to none and the evening Reception was wonderful! The room was decorated as we had asked and the food was delicious. The staff were all extremely helpful, welcoming and polite and we had many wonderful comments.Over all a 11/10... the day was everything we had wished for and more.BethWhen it came to choosing our wedding venue, The Three Salmons was our first and only choice. On the day itself the team were efficient, attentive and professional at every stage, ensuring our day went without a hitch. Proper Welsh hospitality!Every detail that the Salmons organised for us, from bringing drinks to our ceremony venue at Usk Castle, to their excellent choice of DJ, the florist and how helpful they were in organising music so my friend could sing at the reception. It all contributed to the amazing vibes of a day that we will treasure in our memories forever. We will most certainly be returning to the Salmons for dinner and drinks in the future and will be shouting from the rooftops about how much we recommend them to any couples looking for a special wedding day.Bride & GroomWhen your companion is a relative and an ex-multi-national chairman, getting the lunch venue right is important. And when early plans bombed this week and I had to think of a quick alternative, The Three Salmons rescued the day. Front of house man Patrick was terrific, the table service excellent and the lunchtime menu right up there. The Salmons has lost none of its charm – a calm asset to timeless Usk. Superb!Roger, NewportI stayed in this hotel on a recent business trip to Wales. It was a little outside Newport where I was working but well worth the 10 minute journey. The rooms are well presented and very clean however the bed was very soft which isn't always to peoples liking. The food was good and staff very friendly. Being familiar with the hotel and we dine at the hotel on a regular basis as the food is consistently very good. If anyone does not like the food served here they need their head tested! We had a superb meal. Service was excellent. Main course of Welsh Lamb for me and Sea Bass for hubby - gorgeous!
