PWG News PWG August 2021 Virtual Face-to-Face Meeting - Summary Aug 30, 2021

The PWG held its August 2021 Virtual Face-to-Face Meeting on August 17-19, 2021 via Webex teleconferences. Representatives from Brother, Canon, High North, HP Inc., Kyocera Document Solutions, Lakeside Robotics, Lexmark, Ricoh, TIC, and TCS attended the meetings, among other individuals. Attendees reviewed work in progress, including drafts of a number of in-progress specifications, and discussed liaisons with partner groups. Here is a summary of the proceedings.

The DNS-SD tests now look for a TLS key whose value contains a TLS version number (Issue #6464)The document tests now wait for each job to complete before proceeding to the next job (Issue #6666)Finishing options were not reported correctly by `ippevesubmit` in the JSON file (Issue #6767)The `media-needed` test did not work on streaming printers (Issue #6868)

The PWG held its May 2021 Virtual Face-to-Face Meeting on May 4-7, 2021 via Webex teleconferences. This event was held in collaboration with Linux Foundation OpenPrinting Workgroup. Sessions were presented by both organizations over the events 4 days.
