In-Shop & On-Site Services: AC HV Motor Rewind and Rebuild High voltage AC motors are wound by skilled and experienced rewinders using imported coils and class H winding kits. AC LV Motor Rewind and Rebuild • Low voltage AC motors are wound by skilled and experienced rewinders using class H random wire and winding kits. Alignment Laser alignment is an advanced solution that uses optical technology to perform precise shaft alignment. Balancing The process of reducing the unbalanced forces that causes vibration and bearing noise. Banding Use of a superior high tensile strength banding tapes to secure the winding and to resist the centrifugal force when the rotor is rotating. Coil Winding Machine Automatic wire guidance in a manner that assures perfectly layered winding, with automatic wire tensioning, which enable us to save time. Machine Shop and Metalizing We are performing several kinds of mechanical repair such as re-sleeving of housing, metalizing through electroplating, re-shafting, re-facing of commutators and slip rings, fabrication of motor parts, etc. Hydro Generator We are assessing large hydro generators using GETS – generator electrical testing standards. Restacking A partial or a complete dismantling and re-insulation of core laminations. Re-wedging A partial or a complete replacement of wedge in stator assembly, either magnetic or non magnetic. Sandblasting The process by which an abrasive media is accelerated through a blasting nozzle by means of compressed air. Testing We are conducting a thorough electrical testing for evaluating motors and no load testing up to 4160V. Transformers We are reconditioning and rewinding different types of transformers from smallest control transformers to large power and distribution transformers and also rectifier transformers. Turbo Generator We are assessing large turbo generators using GETS – generator electrical testing standards. Computerized wedge tightness testing is a method of precisely measuring the stator slot wedge system for its degree of tightness within the core iron wedge grooves. Bump testing is used to assess resonant frequencies and looseness of end windings and connections. It analyzes the natural response of stator end windings upon excitation from a mechanical impulse. A low voltage (a few volts), high frequency (kHz range) surge wave is injected at each one of the collector rings. The two signals are then compared to determine if the same waveform is observed at each collector ring. Boroscope is an optical tool suitable for visual inspection of inaccessible areas of the machine such as under the retaining rings of a turbo generator. Ultrasonic Testing (UT) uses high frequency sound energy to conduct examinations and make measurements.
