Our Worship ServicesOur services are conducted in a quiet and reverential manner. In Hebrews 12:28 we find, "Therefore, since we receive a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us show gratitude, by which we may offer to God an acceptable service with reverence and awe." Our services are meant to praise God and draw worshipers closer to God and to strengthen and encourage one another during our time together.Our worship services are completely based on what we find recorded in the New Testament. We partake of the Lord's Supper each Sunday, the first day of the week, to honor and commemorate the sacrifice Christ made on behalf of His people for all time. ( Acts 20:7 ) We offer prayers to God through Christ, listen to the word of God spoken, give as we have been prospered, and sing with our hearts as a congregation. ( I Cor 16:2 Ephesians 5:19 )Jesus taught that "...an hour is coming, and now is, when true worshipers shall worship the Father in spirit and truth; for such people the Father seeks to be His worshipers. God is spirit; and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth" ( John 4:23-24 ).
