20th February 2014Jacquelyn Hynes is the latest artist to release their album on Hobgoblin records. Silver and Wood is a collection of original and traditional piece featuring Silver and Wooden flutes. Jacquelyn Hynes is a folk flutist, multi-instrumentalist and composer. She has supported Irelands leading musicians including Martin Hayes, Michael McGoldrick, Mary Coughlan and Lunasa, performed with Donal Lunny and for President Mary Macaleese. Release date 24th March through Proper.
24th November 2011Dogan Mehmet's long awaited second album is mixed, mastered and will be released early in 2012 watch this space...
21st November 2011The Long Notes have signed to Hobgoblin and will release their second album In the Shadow of Stromboli through Proper 30th January 2012. The launch party will take place on 20th Jan at the Green Note in Camden, and at Celtic Connections in Glasgow on the 25 Jan, supporting Luka Bloom.
27th September 2010Hobgoblin released Blabbermouth'sMe and the Metronome HOBCD1011. The track Agoraphobia was released as a digital single on 26th July. November 2009Dogan Mehmet's debut album Gypsyhead HOBCD1010 was released this month. The launch parties took place at the Komedia in Brighton and Gibson Guitar Centre, in London.

24th July 2008The new Blackthorn Band album The River That Runs Below HOBCD1009 will be released on 5th August 2008. The launch party will take place on 29th July at the Gibson Guitar Centre, in London.

24th July 2008BBC Young folk award finalist Dogan Mehmet signs for Hobgoblin Records. An EP entitled "EP Unlimited" has been released for sale this summer while the debut album is being recorded
24th July 2008Phil Hardy the maker of the famous Chieftain and Kerry low whistles used by most celtic whistle players, has signed with Hobgoblin Records and released an album of his best low whistle tracks entitled Revisited. It is to be released by Proper Music Distribution on September 1st 2008.
26th October 2007The Blabbermouth Album My Dancing Heart will be released on 3rd December 2007. The launch night will take place on 19th November at The Fly in London, WC1A. Tickets are 5, and are available from here
25th September 2007Boldwood's album "Feet Don't Fail Me Now" will be released on November 5th after a very successful launch gig at Cecil Sharp House, Camden in September. Blabbermouth's album is being manufactured now for a November release.
3rd August 2007 Two new artists sign with Hobgoblin Records. Boldwood ("cracking to dance to too... a shining example of English music" and Blabbermouth the voice of an angel.. an original musical experience you'll not forget in a hurry.
