Purdue faculty can get started with a research or course wiki space by filling out the Request a Confluence Space Form. For more information on working with course wiki spaces, see the Showcase page.Confluence combines powerful online authoring capabilities, Office integration, and an extensive plug-in catalog to help Purdue University faculty and students work better together and share information effortlessly.OnePurdue Retirement Confluence's access to the OnePurdue directory has been disabled in preparation for OnePurdue's retirement. Any and all spaces using Active Directory groups to assign space or page permissions must have migrated to either BoilerAD groups or local Confluence groups. Please see the tip below about using BoilerAD groups if you aren't seeing the groups you want to use in Confluence.If you are unable to access Confluence, please contact your space administrator or itap@purdue.edu for help. Faculty wishing to set up a Confluence wiki space for an academic course should visit our Self-Service Application. Confluence may occasionally undergo maintenance on Saturday evenings between 4:00 PM and midnight (EST). Notice will be given in advance of any maintenance that will make Confluence unavailable.AD Groups Tip: You may now use BoilerAD Active Directory groups to assign permission to spaces or pages. You may still use confluence-users to grant access to all Confluence users. Note that BoilerAD groups must have the word confluence in their description in order to be used. If a BoilerAD group you want to use is nested within another group, the parent group(s) must also have the word confluence in their description. Old OnePurdue groups are not automatically carried over to BoilerAD so you may need to create new groups or request that OnePurdue groups be imported via itap@purdue.edu. It may take up to 2 hours for new groups (or newly updated groups) to show up in Confluence, depending on synchronization status.
