Jackrabbits News Jul 8 FISD Athletics and UIL Update The UIL has introduced additional information and clarifications for summer strength and conditioning and sports skills.  Since Forney ISD Athletic programs were already operating above and beyond both the initial UIL guidelines for safety as well as the CDC definitions and instructions for safe operation, very few adjustments need to be made to the FISD The final workouts of the initial phase of FISD SS C program concluded this week with over 500 students working in the past month within their small groups and across multiple campus sessions.  The SS C calendar is closed for next week but may resume on July 13th. It remains the goal of the FISD Athletics and Sports Medicine to maintain the safest environment a student athlete can enter outside of his or her home.  Athletic Physical Information for 2020  In order to be cleared for participation in athletics for the 2020-2021 school year, athletes MUST have the following completed and submitted prior to any workout.  This does not include summer camps or strength conditioning. PHYSICAL – All athletes must have a yearly physical for the upcoming calendar Student Athletes and Parents, ALL Sessions of Forney High School Strength and Conditioning Camp are cancelled due to inclement weather for Monday, June 22, 2020. In an effort to maintain safety and security with UIL guidelines, we are at our maximum capacity in all sessions of our strength and conditioning program.  Registrations for the 2020 summer strength and conditioning are now closed.
