Bright Event Rentals

In 2018, Bright (bright.com) was already one of the largest full-service special event rental companies in the nation. Working with the Volatile team, Bright launched a suite of game-changing ecommerce functions that, by 2020, had changed the landscape of the event rental business. The Bright team understood the complexity of organizing and executing successful events—from large-scale corporate events and fundraising galas to custom weddings and private events—and worked with the Volatile team to meet customer demands. The result was a website that met the needs of customers, large and small, who wanted the ability to change their orders and contracts as many times as they wanted with access to real-time inventory. This functionality not only satisfied customer demand but also saved the Bright team countless customer service hours, thus improving their bottom line on both fronts. The Volatile redesign made that happen.

Volatile has a longstanding relationship with Toyota, developing and managing a range of internal and external customer-facing products. Over the last decade, Volatile developed and managed BrandPoint—Toyota’s internal brand management digital platform which facilitates consistent employee engagement with the brand culture. BrandPoint inventories brand guidelines, archives approved logos, documents restrictions, provides internal news related to the brand, and supports philanthropic ventures along with other mission-critical branding priorities. The Volatile team also developed a wide range of multimedia presentation tools for Toyota Financial.

On the customer-facing side, the Volatile team: designed a templated website platform that made it possible for Lexus and Toyota dealers to choose from a menu of content-managed style options for their individual sites; developed websites for Toyota customers to learn about lease promotions, buy-out options, and other lease-end terms; and developed a co-branded interactive points calculator for the Chase banking platform when Toyota and Lexus launched their line of credit cards.
