Are you looking for an authentic Alaskan experience? We can offer that. We are not in town like the other lodges, but are on a secluded island, yet only a 20 minute boat ride from town!

Would you rather your experience be personalized, instead of being herded in and out of activities with a large group of people? That would be Eagles Wings. We only take eight guests at a time, so we are more able to accommodate your every desire.

About Eagle's Wings Lodge

Eagle's Wings is an all-inclusive wilderness fishing lodge located on a remote island in Southeast Alaska, yet it is just a 20 minute boat ride from the town of Craig on Prince of Wales Island. The property features a 3 bedroom lodge plus two private guest cabins (see “Accommodations”), all with running water and bathrooms with flush toilets. Large decks look out over peaceful waters and views of surrounding uninhabited islands in the archipelago.

Our season goes from June to September. We welcome individuals, or groups of up to 10 people. We work with each guest to custom design the Alaskan experience of your dreams: doing things you like, at your own pace... that's the idea behind Eagle's Wings.

Once you’re here our staff will take care of everything for you: our chef will prepare delicious meals for you – even with your fresh caught fish if you so desire, our fishing guides will take you salt or freshwater fishing, and there is always someone available to take you kayaking, hiking, whale watching, sightseeing, or whatever else you’d like to do. We will fillet, vacuum seal, freeze, label, and pack your fish in airline approved boxes ready for your trip home.

In a nutshell: our package includes everything except your airfare, your fishing license, and gratuities.  So start planning your vacation now so you can come enjoy all that we have to offer you!

About Your Hosts

Captains Mark & Beth Farrar

Mark Farrar’s journey in Alaska began in the early 1970s when he moved from California to work as a commercial King Crab fisherman. He fell in love with Alaska’s natural beauty and abundant opportunities for adventure, and decided to make the move, building a one-room cabin for him and his soon-to-be wife, Beth. Many years have past since then, but their love and passion for Alaska has only grown stronger.

It was a life-long dream of theirs to share the Alaskan experience with fellow adventure-seekers and outdoor enthusiasts. Eagle’s Wings Wilderness Lodge is that dream, come to life.

Meet the Team

Mark and Beth and their devoted staff would love to show you their remote corner of heaven and help you experience the many wonders of the Last Frontier: world class fishing, whale watching, eagles galore, celestial pink sunsets, and the amazing splendor of “God's Country”.

This is Alaska... up close and personal for you or your group on a more intimate and financially reasonable basis.

Accomodations

Enjoy a delicious meal then relax after a full day of Alaska adventures!

From the moment you arrive at Eagle's Wings, you will be impressed with the welcoming atmosphere. The lodge has a warm, welcoming atmosphere where you'll feel right at home. We also have two separate cabins; each sleep 3 to 4 people (cabins available on a 1st to reserve basis). Call for details.

Our cooks will prepare both your breakfasts and lunches - whether you'll be going out fishing or staying on site. Dinner is served family style at either the indoor or outdoor dining table. You will also be served appetizers when you arrive home from your day of fishing or exploring, and there are always plenty of snacks available in the lodge throughout the day.

After a full day of activities, stretch out in the great room, the covered porch, the deck, or in your private cabin - all with spectacular views of the water and long-lasting Alaskan sunsets!

OR... mosey along the shore while watching salmon jumping, then warm up by the outdoor fire pit or in the cedar sauna.
OR... challenge someone to horseshoes or cornhole toss. There are also many games and puzzles.
OR...take some time to be alone appreciating our beautiful surroundings.

At the end of the day relax in one of our very comfortable beds... complete with your choice of pillow, and flannel or silky sheets.
