The Center for Emerging Risk Research (CERR) conducts and coordinates research on how to improve the quality of life of future generations as comprehensively as possible. To this end, it promotes research and the implementation of solutions to avoid technological risks.



Our current research focus is on artificial intelligence, decision theory and game theory, prioritization research, moral philosophy and population ethics, as well as peace and conflict research.


We identify and evaluate funding opportunities and make grants based on our findings.
