The Journal of Biological Research – Bollettino della Società Italiana di Biologia Sperimentale is one of the oldest journals in Biology. Founded in 1925 the journal is available in Medline until 2001 and Scopus since 2014. The Journal of Biological Research – Bollettino dellaSocietà Italiana di Biologia Sperimentaleis an online-only peer-reviewed journal which welcomes papers dealing with any aspect of experimental biology. Papers concerning clinical topics can be accepted only if they include experimental laboratory data. Original communications, review articles or short communications may be submitted.

Journal of Biological Research – Bollettino della Società Italiana di Biologia Sperimentale expected to receive Impact Factor in 2023

The Journal of Biological Research is included in the Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI). We anticipate receiving our first official impact factor in June 2023, in accordance with Clarivate's recent announcement that all Web of Science Core Collection journals will receive an impact factor in 2023.

In the meantime, we'd like to express our gratitude to everyone who contributed to the journal.
