Alvaro Delicado

Co-Founder, Scale Gas

Alvaro Delicado worked for Enagas at their commercial department as Account Manager, after 3 years he began a cofounder of Scale Gas, a company Powered by Enagas established in 2017, to invest, build, operate and maintain LNG small scale infrastructures especially focus on remote areas and LNG for transport sector (Bunkering / Filling stations). Actually he is managing the development of terminals and bunkering projects.Started his career, after graduation as Industrial Engineering, on an inspection company, after 5 years working on this sector he changed to Middles Distillates and Biodiesel Imported Company for the Spanish market as associate on Premier Oil, an exclusive agent for Mercuria Energy Trading at Spain, working with the mayor oil companies.

James Watson

Secretary General, Eurogas

Dr Watson is the Secretary General of Eurogas, a role he has held since January 2019. Eurogas is the association representing the European gas wholesale, retail and distribution sectors.
Prior to taking the helm at Eurogas, Dr Watson was the Chief Executive Officer of SolarPowerEurope, the European solar industry association. Before joining SolarPower Europe, Dr Watsonworked as the Director of Public Affairs for Weber Shandwick, specialising in energy and tradepolicy. Before coming to Brussels, Dr Watson worked for the Commonwealth Secretariat on aEuropean Commission project on trade and sustainable development based in Ethiopia. Earlier inhis career James worked for various UK government bodies in London and worked as a lecturer inEnvironmental Law at the University of Manchester.
He holds a Ph.D in International Trade and Environmental Law from the University of Leeds, and iscurrently a Visiting Professor at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel.

Andrew Clifton

General Manager, SIGTTO

Andrew Clifton is the General Manager and Chief Operating Officer of SIGTTO (The Society of International Gas Tanker & Terminal Operators Ltd), he has over 30 years experience in the liquefied gas shipping industry. This includes 19 years at sea, three years as master, mainly on liquefied gas carriers, a first class honours degree in shipping operations and shore managerial experience over the last 12 years. The latter includes three years working at the UK’s Marine Accident Investigation Branch (MAIB), marine superintendent with Golar LNG, almost two years in the SIGTTO Secretariat as a Technical Adviser and over five years in Indonesia with BP as LNG Shipping manager for the Tangguh LNG project.
Andrew was also the SIGTTO Panel chairman from October 2008 until becoming GM.
Andrew Clifton is the eighth SIGTTO General Manager. He is also the youngest General Manager and the first General Manager who was formerly a Technical Adviser at the Society.

Chris Clucas

General Manager, SIGTTO

Chris Clucas is General Manager at SIGTTO (the Society of International Gas Tanker & Terminal Operators Ltd). He holds degrees in Chemistry (B.Sc.) and Cryogenics (M.Sc). From 1973-78, Chris was at the International Chamber of Shipping (ICS), working on the original IGC Code and the STCW gas training syllabus; he compiled the ICS Tanker Safety Guide (Liquefied Gas).
After qualifying in Cryogenics, he worked on LNG plant design with British Gas, then joined Kosan Tankers as Superintendent before moving to the company’s Isle of Man LPG operation.
In 1990, Chris returned to shipping with Dorchester Maritime – looking after cargo system design, newbuild, upgrades & operations for their owned & managed LPG/LEG/LNG fleets. He was appointed to the Board in 2008.
Since 2018, Chris has run Liquefied Gas Consultancy Ltd, providing training courses for ship & shore gas staff, “Expert Witness” advice and design/operational consultancy.
In 2013, Chris was elected Founder President of the Society for Gas as a Marine Fuel (SGMF) and is the current Secretary. He is the immediate past Chair of SIGTTO’s General Purposes Committee as well past Chair of the SIGTTO Panel. Chris is co-Chair of the Gastech Conference and a member of the Gastech Governing Body.

Daisuke Harada

Project Director, Economist, JOGMEC

Daisuke HARADA entered Japan National Oil Corporation (JNOC) in 1997. As an economist, he was engaged in several projects in Asia and Oceania and in the internal task-force for the upstream asset purchase between JNOC and private entities.
In 2003, He was seconded to the Agency for Natural Resources and Energy, Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, in charge of establishment of bilateral and multilateral relations between Asian countries focusing on People’s Republic of China, Republic of India and ASEAN countries in energy affairs.
In 2006, as soon as he returned from Ministry to JOGMEC (JNOC and Metal Mines Agency ofJapan merged in 2004), he was appointed as Deputy Director of Moscow Representative Office and worked for starting up upstream JVs in East Siberia. In 2010, he entered the graduate school of the Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas, and completed the master’s degree in economics and management in 2012.
After six years career in Russia, he came back to Tokyo and has been appointed as a regionalspecialist and economist for projects in Russia and CIS, continuously researches the multilateral relations and geopolitics between Russia, US, EU, China and Japan, and also providing intelligence services to Japanese Government and private entities. Currently he is also in charge of Arctic LNG-2 project (NOVATEK) and Vostok Oil project (Rosneft).

James Primrose

Principal Process Engineer, EMEA, Mcdermott

James has over 17 years industry experience and has been part of McDermott’s Liquefaction Studies team since 2012. He is currently LNG Technology Manager at McDermott and has held lead positions on multiple LNG liquefaction and LNG regasification projects across studies, pre FEED, FEED, EPC and performance testing of LNG facilities. James is a key member of McDermott’s Energy Transition initiatives. He is a regional SME for McDermott’s Net Zero Facilities and Low Carbon Engineering, an active member of the hydrogen workgroup at McDermott, and is the Technology Lead for Hydrogen Liquefaction Development.

Jurgita Šilinskaitė-Venslovienė

Head of LNG Commerce, AB Klaipėdos Nafta

Jurgita Šilinskaitė-Venslovienė is the Head of LNG Commerce at the Oil and LNG terminals operator „Klaipėdos nafta“. She is responsible for FSRU based Klaipėda LNG terminal and onshore LNG Bunkering and Truck loading terminal. She has extensive experience in management of diverse infrastructural projects in different sectors. Previous work experience of her covers Ignalina Nuclear Power Plant, National Development Institute and private holding company. At the same time Jurgita Šilinskaitė-Venslovienė is a Board member of Klaipėda University (Lithuania).

Nusret Cömert

Chairman of the Board, Damnus Energy & Investment, Inc.

Nusret Comert is the Chairman of the Board and the Principle Shareholder of Damnus Energy & Investment Inc. He has been in the upstream, midstream and downstream of energy industry since 1984. He had been supporting Royal Dutch Shell’s activities in the Middle East, Africa, Caspian and European region for developing upstream oil and gas positions and additional gas supplies for Turkey and Europe. Comert has led the natural gas sector’s liberalization process in Turkey and is the founder and was the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Shell Energy A.S., the first private company importing and trading natural gas in Turkey. He has also led Shell’s entry in deep water exploration in the Mediterranean and West Black Sea as well as Shale Oil and Shale Gas exploration in South East Turkey in partnership with TPAO, the national upstream company. In Shell, Comert was an Exploration Leadership Team Member in Middle East and North Africa; a Gas and Power Leadership Team Member in South East Europe. Comert gained broad experience from the development of the Trans-Caspian Gas Project, gas and power production, storage, LNG, and distribution projects and initiated the Turkey-Greece Gas Pipeline Project, currently supplying gas to Greece via Turkey. Previously, Comert worked at Shell’s Central Offices in London for several years responsible for Gas & Power Business Development for Turkey and East Mediterranean region. Prior roles spanned in the areas of marketing & sales, planning & economics and supply & distribution of fuels and lubricants for the Group’s Oil Products business. Comert has led Shell Turkey’s transformation during deregulation period in oil products in Turkey.
Comert has been an Independent Board Member of Akfen Holding A.S. (akfen.com.tr), the leading infrastructure holding in Turkey developed and operated major airports around the world, Mersin International Port, power generation, property, Istanbul Sea Transportation, hotels, etc. for four years and he is an Independent Board Member of Borusan Mannesmann (http://www.borusanmannesmann.com) a leading international pipe producer, and Honorary Consul of the Republic of Trinidad & Tobago in Istanbul and overall Turkey, an Executive Board Member of Istanbul Consular Corps (ICC) responsible for International Relations.
Comert held a BS degree (Mechanical Engineering) and completed Istanbul University Business School. He is a Senior Advanced Leadership Fellow at Harvard University (advancedleadership.harvard.edu) and an IMD Business School Alumni, member of Harvard Club of New York City, Vice President of Harvard Club of Turkey. Comert has been an active member of TUSIAD (tusiad.org), the Turkish Industrialists and Businessmen’s Association for 15 years and the Deputy Chairman of the Energy Group. He is a founder and former Chairman of the Board of Directors of PETFORM, the Petroleum Platform Association for three terms, Executive Board Member of Turkish Foreign Economic Board (DEIK) Turkey-Central America and Caribbeans Business Council, a member of advisory board of Energy and Sustainable Development Practices and Research Center of Kadir Has University. He is a frequent speaker at conferences and forums and is often interviewed by press on the topics of energy and leadership.

Roxana Caliminte

Deputy Secretary General, GIE

Roxana is the Deputy Secretary General of GIE, a position she’s held since 2017. GIE is the voice of the European gas infrastructure operators, including gas pipelines, storages and LNG regasification terminals, and it has 70 members from 26 European countries. Prior to joining GIE, she worked for the Romanian gas transmission operator Transgaz, where she was responsible for the company’s engagement with EU and governmental bodies. Roxana holds a Master’s Degree in Business in German language from Bucharest Academy of Economic Studies, with exchange semesters in Germany and Russia. Since 2020, Roxana is assisting EU-Russia Energy Relations and visiting lecturer at Energy Markets MBA at the Academy of Economic Studies in Bucharest, Romania.

Sergio Gonzalez

Sergio has more than ten years of professional experience holding several engineering and commercial positions within the Oil & Gas sector with a special focus on the Gas/LNG field.
Sergio joined Foster Wheeler (which lately became part of Wood Plc.) on 2011 as Proposal Manager for LNG Regas Business.
He has been responsible for the Business Development activities as well as Proposal Management of Onshore/Offshore LNG Import, Storage and Regasification Terminal Projects worldwide, based in Madrid Office (Spain), the Centre of Excellence for LNG Regasification Projects within Wood Plc. Corporation. Wood Spain is part of Wood’s SERC (Southern Europe, Russia and Caspian) geographical region.
Now he has recently been appointed as LNG Business Line Leader for EAAA Region (Europe, Africa, Asia, Australia) leading the Business Development activities for Gas/LNG Import/Export projects in this part of the world.

Hussein Moghaddam

Senior Energy Forecast Analyst, Gas Exporting Countries Forum Secretariat

I am an economist with more than ten years’ experience in the oil and gas sector. I have an activecontribution to the successful implementation in various energy projects. I hold a PhD in Energyand Environmental Management from the University of Vienna. Currently, I am working for theGas Exporting Countries Forum (GECF), as a Senior Energy Forecast Analyst, headquarters inDoha, Qatar. I am supervising the GECF Global Gas Model (GGM) runs, regular updates of thedata and the GECF Global Gas Outlook storylines.

Germain Hurtado

Hydrogen Project Director, Storengy

Germain Hurtado is Hydrogen Project Director. He is in charge of the flagship project HyPSTERproject Hydrogen Pilot Storage for large Ecosystem Replication. He holds different positions in theenergy sector from North America, Africa and Europe. He has extensive experience in management ofinfrastructural projects in energy. Previous work experience in ENGIE was Financial and Head ofStrategic Partnerships Manager for TWI project.

Akachidike Kanu

Projects Leader, Repsol

Akachidike (AkaChi) Kanu has 20+ years of career experience in the petroleum and energy industry with deep technical and management expertise in New Ventures and Asset Development, Engineering, Projects and Operations Management. He has authored/co-authored many technical papers widely published and referenced in the industry and academia, mainly in gas field development, flow assurance and offshore engineering. He frequently speaks at major international conferences and events. AkaChi holds a MS in Engineering Management and a B.Eng. (Honours) in Chemical Engineering from South Dakota School of Mines and Technology, and Federal University of Technology, Yola Nigeria, respectively. He also serves as Guest Lecturer and External Supervisor at two leading engineering and business schools in Africa and Europe.

Mariarosa Baroni

President, NGV Italy

Mariarosa Baroni has over 35 years of experience in the development of alternative fuels, contributing already in the 90s with her industry-leading engineering company to the birth of OEM gas-powered cars and developing an installation and maintenance network in hundreds of workshops of OEM dealerships.
In the same years, thanks to the experience gained at the Italian level, she contributed to the development of various international gas mobility markets, such as India and Iran, with local partners, operating mainly in the light and heavy duty OEM area.
The close collaboration with European and international OEMs has allowed her to promote Italian technology in the world as an expert marketing consultant and become a reference person for sustainable gas mobility at an international level.
In recent years she has dedicated her first experience to the promotion of natural gas and bio-methane (CNG and LNG) especially in Japan through institutional relations and local authorities. Since 2013 Mariarosa has been President of NGV Italy continuing to promote and strengthen the leadership of Italian technologies for natural gas and bio-methane (CNG and LNG), blended fuels and hydrogen mobility.

Christian Hoellinger

Head of Downstream LNG Road, Shell

After graduated his business economic studies at Johannes Kepler University in Linz Christian Hoellinger started his career in Shell in 1993. First he was responsible for dealer economics in Retail, then he managed the Austrian CSC and became the sales manager for CRT Austria/Switzerland. In 2003 he moved to international marketing and sales management roles in the Global Shell Cards business. In 2014, Christian got the responsibility for the European international key accounts business for Shell Fleet Solution. In this role he was managing the sales team for the indirect international Leasing & Reseller segment as well as big direct international fleets & CRT customers amounting to a total volume of more than 1,5 Bln ltrs and achieved sufficient volume growth in a mature business segment year on year. Christian gathered strong relationships to European top fleet & transport decision makers and is still well connected within this industry .
Mid 2018 Christian was appointed to lead the European LNG Road team and is responsible on accelerating the uptake of LNG in Road Transport to fully decarbonize this segment. Together with his team he defines the strategic plans, drives the development of the required LNG Retail network with a high share of BioLNG supply across Europe and ensures new customer & shipper opportunities are secured. In this position he tripled the Shell LNG network & volume, implemented BioLNG to the Dutch market, got a great relationship to all important internal Shell senior stakeholders and all relevant external stakeholders such as major Truck OEMs, industry platforms, logistic & shipping companies. Representing Shell as a member in NGVA since years, in October 2020 additionally to his job Christian was appointed as Vice President of this European association.

Claudia Patricolo

Lorenzo Maggioni

Head of Research and Development, Consortium Italian Biogas

Lorenzo Maggioni, received his Ph.D. from the Faculty of Agriculture of Milan, with a thesis on Agricultural Ecology. He is an expert of the biomethane sector and he has an excellent knowledge of multifunctional agriculture and, in particular, of the production of energy from renewable sources. Since 2011 he is Head of Research and Development of Consortium Italian Biogas, where he led several European funded projects (GreenGasGrids, BIOSURF, ISAAC, etc.). Currently he is participating in the EU founded projects SABANA, REGATRACE and BIKE. He was board member of the NGVA Europe. He is the coordinator of the hydrogen and of the biomethane working groups of the Italian Biogas Consortium. Every year he participates as a speaker at numerous international conferences and workshops.

Federica Sposato

Project Development Manager, Elengy

Federica Sposato is Business Development Project Manager in Elengy. She is responsible for all projects aiming to develop new usages of LNG such as Bio LNG plants or new supply chains etc. After 15 years in the Oil & Gas Industry, acting as a project engineer, risk officer, then as a project manager for gas distribution network or LNG liquefaction plants, since 2016 she’s coordinating projects on different renewables in different countries : Wind Offshore , Geothermal and now LNG, Bio LNG, in France, Italy and Caribbeans. She has a Chemical Engineering degree by University of Rome La Sapienza, followed by a Master Degree in Refining, Engineering and Gas, issued by ENSPM (Ecole Nationale Supérieure du Petrole et des Moteurs) in Paris. She’s PMP Certified by Project Management Institute, since 2019.

Thomas Maurisse

Thomas Maurisse is a graduate of the Ecole Polytechnique and of the Ecole des Mines (Paris).
He started his career in 2007 in the French Ministry of Economy, Finance & Industry where he became, in 2011, Chief of Staff of the State Secretary for Consumption, Small Enterprises, Trade & Services and Deputy Chief of Staff of the Minister of Economy, Finance & Industry.
Thomas Maurisse joined TotalEnergies in 2012 in the Refining & Chemicals Branch where he worked successively in Germany as Head of he economic division of the Leuna refinery then in Belgium as General Manager of the Supply Sales and Optimization activities for the North and East Europe zone.In 2017, he joined the Exploration & Production Branch as Strategy and Sales Director of Total EP Nigeria.

Victor Bernabeu

Senior Policy Advisor, Eurogas

Victor was in charge of the technical affairs at ePURE, the association representing the EU producers of renewable ethanol, from 2016 to 2021. Before joining ePURE, he held different roles in various energy companies, working on the development of safety studies for majors engineering projects, to the trading and supply of energy products.

Flavio Merigo

Graduated in Electronic Engineering, has been working as Research Director (also in the matters concerned with NG) since 1983, previously in the University and recently in the private sector. Martin Baber

Head of Chartering & Project Development, LNG & Offshore, MOL

Martin joined MOL in 2019 to help oversee opportunities of MOL’s 100+ LNG conventional and offshore vessels with a focus on the Western market. Martin also supports MOL in the companies vision to achieve net zero GHG emissions by 2050, by developing new business structures across the maritime business environment including hydrogen, ammonia, wave energy and offshore wind initiatives. Additionally he is a representative on the World Economic Forum.
Prior to joining MOL, Martin has worked with other ship owners, investment funds and private equity groups on shipping opportunities within in the energy sector.
Martin holds an Executive MBA from Imperial College Business School and was a Commissioned Officer in the Parachute Regiment, HM Forces.

Steven Borsos

As Vice President of LNG, Steve has techno-commercial responsibility for Fluor’s global LNG activities including onshore and offshore liquefaction and receiving terminals. He leads Fluor’s world-wide technology team of LNG subject matter experts and supports business development, proposals, projects and development activities.
Steve is a Registered Professional Engineer in Texas, has a BS in Chemical Engineering from Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois and is a graduate of the Finance & Accounting for Executives Program from Rice University in Houston, Texas.

Giuseppe Guida

Project Manager, Vopak LNG

Giuseppe started his 25 years Oil & Gas experience in new gas turbine design, moving later in EPC offshore projects in technical and project management roles. During this period he gained experience in unconventional projects like floating production units, acid gas platforms, shallow water and extreme weather conditions supporting tendering, engineering, procurement and construction.
During his experience within an energy company, Giuseppe was directly involved in strategic projects such as conventional onshore LNG terminal, SSLNG and offshore pipelines with special attention to innovation in energy transition and renewables with the objective to develop new products.Currently he is now in charge of the technical development of new terminal concepts worldwide.

Seyed Mohsen Razavi

Energy Technology Analyst, Gas Exporting Countries Forum Secretariat

As an energy analyst with more than 14 years experience, Seyed Mohsen Razavi wasinvolved and led several energy projects including energy modelling, energy-relatedfeasibility analysis and energy economy analysis.
After the graduation in Energy Systems Engineering, he began his career in upstream oil andgas sector when he joined a drilling company and contributed to many energy projects suchas drilling wells for geothermal energy and underground gas storages. In 2009, he moved tothe Institute for International Energy Studies (IIES) that is a research institute based inTehran where he became involved in many energy modelling projects and analysis.
In 2016, he joined Gas Exporting Countries Forum (GECF) as Energy Technology Analystwhere he is in charge of gas supply modelling and developing technology scenarios withinthe framework of GECF Global Gas Outlook (GGO). So far, he contributed to five revision ofthe annual GGO in the energy modelling process. He has been the author of the gas supplychapter in GGO, and he developed different scenarios, including the TechnologyAdvancement Scenario (TAS), Energy Transition Scenario (ETS), and Hydrogen Scenario (HS).

Diveena Danabalan

Diveena Danabalan is the Head of EIC Consult at EIC London and is responsible for building EICConsult’s global team, image, and brand. EIC Consult is EIC’s new bespoke market intelligenceservice offering reports on new market entry strategies, presentation delivery to help inform futurebusiness development strategy, bespoke insight and country reports and, competitor and supplychain analysis including the identification of potential JV partners.
Diveena holds a PhD in Geological Sciences from Durham University. Diveena joined the EIC aftercompleting an Equinor-sponsored PhD in the usage of the noble gases and nitrogen isotopes asgeochemical tracers in helium exploration.

Andrés Pérez Quiroga

Operations Manager, Reganosa

Andrés Pérez Quiroga is currently Operation Manager in Reganosa Servicios based in Reganosa Mugardos head offices and recently coming from Malta, where Reganosa Servicios operates & maintains the Delimara Regasification Terminal on behalf of the owner (ElectroGas Malta). There, Andrés was in charge of the ending construction and whole commissioning phase review as the owner’s engineering body, shadowing the start-up and finally taking over and operating the Terminal for almost 5 years as Operations Manager. Before that, he was in Mugardos for 3.5 years from its early stage as an intern and finally as Deputy Operation Manager in its own Reganosa Mugardos LNG Terminal and HP transmission NG grid. Andrés Pérez Quiroga's background is in Chemical Engineering from the University of Santiago de Compostela.

Eric Zielinski

Eric Zielinski joined Saipem in 2003 and has more than 30 years in process design and engineeringmanagement, especially for cryogenic applications, including ethylene plants cold sections, natural gasliquids and natural gas liquefaction.
He has developed within Saipem the Floating LNG solutions and is the coauthor of several patentsaiming at improving the efficiency of gas expansion cycles, including the Liqueflex TM process whichcombines the functions of NGL extraction, gas boosting and liquefaction.
He is currently managing the Upstream & LNG product line within XSIGHT, the Saipem Divisiondedicated at providing innovative and value led services to the customers.

Stefaan Adriaens

Commercial Manager, Gate Terminal B.V

Stefaan joined the Gate LNG terminal in Rotterdam (NL) as commercial manager shortly after FID. With a small team he works on the long term relationship with the 5 terminal users. His prior function was at Fluxys (B) where he was a.o. involved in the expansion of the Zeebrugge LNG terminal. Stefaan has spent his entire career in energy related matters (refining, petrochemicals, natural gas, banking) in a variety of functions (commercial, planning, financial, engineering, IT, analysis).
