One does not choose what to paint any more than one chooses to paint.
On ne choisit pas ce que l’on va peindre, pas plus que l’on ne choisit de devenir peintre.
The subject of my paintings are diverse, some might say eclectic, and so am I. One doesn’t always sing in the same voice or walk with the same stride and neither do I paint in such a way. These paintings reflect the ever changing cloudscape of my life; my environment, my aspirations and my frustrations. I hope you find something in them that pleases you.
Les sujets de mes tableaux sont très divers, certains diraient éclectiques et c’est exactement ce que je suis. Personne ne chante systématiquement dans la même tessiture ou ne marche du même pas, il en va de même lorsque je peins. Mes tableaux représentent l’univers changeant de ma vie, de mon environnement, de mes aspirations et de mes frustrations. J’espère qu’elles réveilleront chez vous des choses qui vous parlent et qui vous plaisent.
