Susan Shaheen
Susan Shaheen is a pioneer and thought leader in emerging mobility strategies. She is a Professor in Civil Engineering and Co-Director of the Transportation Sustainability Research Center at UC Berkeley. She has authored over 67 journal articles and co-edited two books. She received the 2017 Roy W. Crum award from the Transportation Research Board (TRB) for distinguished achievements in transportation research. In May 2016, she was named one of the top 10 academic thought leaders in transportation by the Eno Transportation Foundation. She is a member of the TRB Executive Committee and became the Chair in 2021.

Danielle J. Harris is a passionate advocate for environmental and racial justice, which led her to city planning. As a city planner mitigating tech’s growing impacts on San Francisco over the past 10 years, Danielle began to adapt city functions to unlock tech’s benefits. Today Danielle is a thought leader in new mobility, helping the industry navigate the ever-evolving mobility revolution. Danielle is the Director of Mobility Innovation at Elemental Excelerator, a cleantech startup accelerator that finds and funds mobility startups to work with corporates, community-based organizations, and cities, catalyzing partnerships to equitably and sustainably advance the transportation industry. Prior to Elemental Excelerator, she was the Innovation Strategist for SFMTA Office of Innovation, where she created dynamic collaborations between city departments and tech companies.

Chris Pangilinan
Chris Pangilinan is the Head of Global Policy for Public Transportation and Accessibility at Uber. In this role, Chris works to help public transportation agencies and riders harness Uber’s technology platform to make transit more convenient and easier to use. His work also includes improving accessibility for people with disabilities to the Uber platform. Prior to joining Uber, Chris served in various roles within local transit agencies, research and advocacy, and the US Department of Transportation.
