Our Mission:
To feed people experiencing hunger with surplus nutritious produce, we:
Connect farmers, produce packing facilities, transportation providers and food banks;Develop and share innovative hunger relief solutions; and,Engage the public in hunger relief.0Healthy servings of fruits and vegetables we've provided those in need.We work across the food spectrum to build the right connections.
From full-sized semi truckloads of apples to five boxes of fresh berries and everything in between, we work with a variety of partners to develop and support programs that are tailored to the unique attributes and needs of their communities.

Core Work: Produce Donations
We work with large-scale agricultural partners to find truckload-sized donations of healthy fruits and vegetables to distribute to partner agencies. Click here to learn more.
Core Work: Trucking Donations
Getting donations of produce is half the job. Next, we connect with local trucking companies, trucking schools and others to arrange donated trucking to delivery the produce to our hunger relief partners. Click here to learn more.

Computers for Food Pantries
This program is on hold until classes in Washington are back in session. We’re looking forward to continuing this effort to provide computers and software to help food pantries and meal programs across Washington be more efficient and effective. Click here to learn more.
Hunger and Food Waste
Every day, millions of pounds of the food grown in the United States goes to waste, while an estimated 1 in 6 children suffer from hunger and food insecurity. In Washington, roughly 2 million people turn to food pantries or hot meal programs to meet a basic human need.
Harvest Against Hunger plays a unique role in the hunger relief system by connecting farmers, transportation providers, produce packers, volunteers and hunger relief organizations to move healthy produce from farms and fields to the plates of those in need.
