Press: Alexa Davalos Joins ‘FBI: Most Wanted’ For Season 3

The Man in the High Castle star Alexa Davalos has been tapped as a lead opposite Julian McMahon on CBS’ FBI: Most Wanted for the show’s upcoming third season.

As a new series regular, she will play an FBI agent who joins Jess’ (McMahon’s) team.

From Dick Wolf and the rest of the team behind FBI, spinoff FBI: Most Wanted focuses on the Fugitive Task Force, an elite unit that relentlessly pursues and captures the notorious criminals on the Bureau’s Most Wanted list.

In addition to McMahon, Davalos joins fellow series regulars Kellan Lutz, Roxy Sternberg, Keisha Castle-Hughes and Miguel Gomez.

The third season of FBI: Most Wanted‘s will launch as part of a three-hour crossover premiere event alongside FBI and new series FBI: International to kick off an All-FBI Tuesdays” on CBS this fall.

FBI: Most Wanted is produced by Wolf Entertainment and Universal Television, a division of Universal Studio Group, in association with CBS Studios. Wolf executive produces with showrunner David Hudgins, Arthur W. Forney and Peter Jankowski.

Davalos starred as Juliana Crain on The Man In the High Castle for the series’ four-season run on Amazon Prime Video. She is repped by Gersh and The Burstein Company.

Alexa Davalos Web celebrates 14 years online!!! Yes, 14! I clearly have been a big fan of Alexa. I first saw her portray Gwen Raiden on Angel and I thought her character was so kick ass and then I saw her in The Chronicles of Riddick and she was even more kick ass in a completely different way. I have been a fan since and have seen every single one of her projects except Untitled Secret Service Project (TV Movie in 2002).

I made this little fansite as a really young girl as a way to show support for one of my favorite actresses. The site has been a joy to make and I have met so many lovely Alexa fans to fangirl with. hehe. I’ve never met Alexa, personally, but she just seems like such a lovely and elegant soul, not to mention crazy talented, but I do hope if she ever visits the site that she feels proud and special. Thank you all for visiting for the last 14 years.

Press/Video: The Man in the High Castle – Amazon’s premiere genre show ending after Season 4

One of the biggest names in alt-history will soon be history. Amazon’s premiere genre TV offering, the Philip K. Dick adaptation The Man in the High Castle, is ending after its upcoming fourth season.

Though it famously brought speculative fiction to Amazon before other genre offerings like Lore, The Tick, or Hanna, according to Deadline, the 2015 “what-if” series (about an America ruled by the Axis powers after the latter won World War II) will close out with this fall’s final season.

Executive producer Isa Dick Hackett said that, “it has been a great privilege to work alongside our extraordinary High Castle team, in partnership with David Zucker and Scott Free, to bring my father’s classic novel to life, particularly during this tumultuous period in our real world. I believe fans will be thrilled and satisfied by the epic conclusion we have in store for them.” Cast and crew of the show recently found out about the cancellation, which some have begun sharing on social media.

“With production ongoing on our fourth and final season, we can’t wait for fans to see how this final chapter in the story unfolds,” Amazon Studios boss Jennifer Salke said. “The Man in the High Castle helped define Amazon Prime Video in the genre space, and we are grateful and excited that we’ll continue to be in business with Isa and Electric Shepherd Productions for future Philip K. Dick adaptations.”

These adaptations have so far included the anthology Philip K. Dick’s Electric Dreams alongside High Castle. As far as the future goes, executive producer David Zucker has a few ideas that tease that closing High Castle’s story isn’t the end of the universe.

“While we’re bringing this chapter to a conclusion,” Zucker said, “if one thinks beyond the final frames of this series, it is very provocative to think about what stories may come thereafter. Whether or not we all get to tell them or they get told in another incarnation in film and television, that’s for us to all see. However, I don’t think you can look at this as an absolute culmination because of the nature of the stories that we’re telling with that.”

The Man in the High Castle’s final season drops this fall on Amazon Prime.

Press/Video: Alexa joins Marvel’s The Punisher Season 2

Frank Castle (Jon Bernthal) doesn’t have time to get canceled like the other Netflix Marvel shows. The dude is too busy fighting Jigsaw, the villain that was once Billy Russo (Ben Barnes).

In the first full trailer for Season 2 of The Punisher, we find Mr. Castle protecting a young girl (Giorgia Whigham) after she is almost murdered for information. Unfortunately, this makes Frank the target of her pursuers as well.

To make matters worse, Billy’s out of the hospital and ready to take revenge of the man who marred him at the end of Season 1. As Frank struggles to keep the girl and himself alive, he must come to terms with his role as a protector of the innocent, an antihero persona we all know as The Punisher.

Showrun, written, and produced by the returning Steven Lightfoot, Season 2’s cast features: Amber Rose Revah (Dinah Madani), Jason R. Moore (Curtis Hoyle), Josh Stewart (John Pilgrim), and Floriana Lima (Dr. Krista Dumont).

Based on the trailer alone, it does not look like Deborah Ann Woll’s Karen Page will return, something that would have been very welcome after the cancellation of Daredevil in November. However, a short moment at 1:55 shows what looks to be The Man in the High Castle’s Alexa Davalos playing a love interest for Castle.

The second season of Marvel’s The Punisher premieres on Netflix next Friday, January 18.
