A visitor came in search of land to build his family vacation home. He visited many tracts of land over a period of three months in different areas in the state of North Carolina. After he and his family walked the streets of Historic Downtown Elkin enjoying the small town atmosphere, experiencing the various amenities, along with seeing the natural beauty of the area, they knew they found their dream vacation home destination. And much to their surprise, they found something beyond what they were searching for in the charming town of Elkin. It was in the heart of the people.
