DLT Talents fosters leadership in the blockchain, crypto assets, and DLT space which
empowers ambitious female talents

Blockchain, crypto assets, and DLT will change the infrastructures of finance, supply chains, trade, mobility, and more. However, the blockchain industry consists of 95% males, and this has to change.

DLT Talents – what is it about?

With this program, we seek to empower ambitious women to get into blockchain technology, build the basis for a successful career path, and become leaders in this quickly developing space.

Target group

We target ambitious and committed women interested in a career path in blockchain, crypto assets, or DLT

Duration of the programm

We offer an 18-week long mentoring program. It is divided into three phases: basics phase, multi-disciplinary phase, concentration phase

Cost for the participants

It is free of charge through scholarship grants (application required) which are partly financed by the DLT Talents partnership program

Intake size

A maximum of 100 participants per batch is admitted (two batches per year). This prepares 200+ women to be ready for the DLT job market

Under the patronage of the Frankfurt School Blockchain Center (Prof. Dr. Philipp Sandner) and the Commerzbank/Main Incubator (Michael Spitz)

Outline of the DLT Talents mentoring program

We aim to develop the participants into specialists in a chosen domain after completing the concentration phase

Basic phase

By acquiring generalists’ knowledge the participants get equipped with the fundamentals of blockchain, crypto assets, and DLT.

Multi-disciplinary phase

By getting to know various stakeholder domains, participants gain insight into entrepreneurship, IT development, regulations, venture capital, and media.

Concentration phase

By focussing on one specific stakeholder domain participants advance from generalists to specialists.

Career opportunities after completing the program

We envision that participants passing through our program are well equipped to follow various career paths

Entrepreneur

You become an entrepreneur of a great blockchain startup that is quickly funded with more than EUR 1M.

Technologist

You become a technologist or developer ready to work on blockchain applications or token protocols.

Regulator or lawyer

You become a regulator or lawyer helping to set, change or apply the rules on which a digital society in the future will be based.

Investor

You become an investor or venture capital partner helping to shape the future of other startups.

Multiplicator

You become a multiplicator or influencer in the blockchain area and an important “node” of the network.

Prof. Dr. Philipp Sandner is head of the Frankfurt School Blockchain Center (FSBC) at the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management. His expertise includes blockchain technology in general, crypto assets such as Bitcoin and Ethereum, the digital programmable euro, tokenization of assets and rights, and digital identity. The FSBC advises financial organizations, industrial corporations, and startups concerning their blockchain activities.

Michael F. Spitz is the CEO of Main Icubator and Blockchain expert at Commerzbank. Before joining Main Incubator, he was a Director in APM Asset Solutions and Structured Finance in the Corporate Clients segment at Commerzbank. Michael Spitz has long-standing capital markets experience with over 20 years of exposure to a range of industry sectors in Western and Eastern Europe, North America, and Asia. As an entrepreneur, he brings extensive know-how in developing new products and markets.

Thy-Diep Ta (“Yip”) is a mindfulness coach, tech entrepreneur, and sustainable development goals supporter. She’s co-founder at Unit Ventures, where she builds stakeholder economy using the benefits of blockchain and token economics.

Yip is a MBA graduate of INSEAD business school and has previously been a project lead at management consulting firm McKinsey & Co, where she advised banking and insurance clients. She is a certified mindfulness trainer at Search Inside Yourself Leadership Institute and author of the book “Beautiful Brains change tomorrow... today".
