WRUSD Continuation of Operations PlanWindow Rock Unified School District (WRUSD) understands there are questions regarding what this upcoming school year will look like. We assure you that our team is working diligently in developing quality educational plans for both on-campus and distance learning opportunities for all students throughout the district.As we continue our reopening efforts, students will begin the new school year through online distance learning beginning Thursday, August 6 through Friday, August 14, 2020. The first 7 days of school will be an online learning platform, based on the guidelines from the Arizona Department of Education s Roadmap to Reopening Schools, Center for Disease Control (CDC) guidelines, and with guidance from local public health departments.WRUSD acknowledges many of our students do not have access to internet or personal electronic devices. During the duration of this plan WRUSD ensures that 100% of the student population will receive access to a free and appropriate education, including all related Exceptional Student Services (ESS) and English Language Learners (ELL) services. In the absence of internet or electronic devices WRUSD will provide instructional materials and related grade level appropriate educational packets to students.
