This name was given to the Aspen because of how their leaves look like they are shake in the wind. In the United States, the Aspen tree grows predominately in Colorado and Utah. Did you know that an Aspen tree forest is a single organism? The root system of the entire forest is connected, making it the largest living organism on the planet. In Colorado, Pando grows in the western portion of the state, with its largest colony located by Kebler Pass just west of Crested Butte, Colorado. The Aspen tree has always been our favorite while living in Crested Butte, which is why we named our company after it. Trembling Giant makes high quality snowboard and ski bags.
