Here are the latest comments on the site:John on Salming Kobra 3: Very glad to see they ditched the lace hoop straps that always SNAPPED after a month of use! These look very sleek, very sexy... But I've moved onto Eye S Line from Salming... and I have no complaints plus I have a hookup to get 'em at discount, I can't deny that. Annick dobbelaere on Prince Extender: I have an extender oversize for sale. George on Black Knight Ion Storm: I actually missed this racket after selling it - I’ve now got 5 and I’m sponsored by black knight//ashaway!!! B on Asics Gel Fastball 3: hi, what's the general view on these? i just don't think they're as good as the original Fastball shoe Jordan Hooper on Stellar Squash Rackets: I have two Stellar stealth's and since changing from Black Knight I have noticed the difference in raquet weight and the feel. They have great control and durability and the strings put a bit of spin into the short game up the front. Happy with it and about to invest in the new Hornet when it arrives Serge on Eye V.Lite 115: I had to report this: I spent the past 2 years playing with Tecnifibre carboflex 125 models and was really happy with the latest 2020 airshaft modell. I was previously a Dunlop player.A few weeks ago a new club squash player came in with the purple version of the Eye V.Lite 115, I gave it a shot and liked it a lot, I felt it was very similar to the Airshaft, though stiffer and less forgivable. So as I am always looking for the most friendly raquet for my body, as I am 55 and every squash session is a win. I ordered the latest modell, the white one used by Paul Coll.I played solo for 90 minutes today and it is HUGE.I was extremely pleased with the raquet stifness (it is VERY stiff) its overall power and maneuverability, its total weight is 150g and it is very head light (close to 35cm).The original Eye strings are very good and provide plenty of power and control. I will probably switch to my favorite strings (ashaway supernick zx, 27 lb) sometimes but for the moment it fits just fine.So I was able to hit the ball with lots of power and terrific conistency, the raquet speed makes it a delight for voley shots, fast or in general. The one downside is that it is not as forgiving as a standard tear drop raquet with vertical stringing, you really have to hit the ball within the sweet spot. After 60 min or so, I took the airshaft back and was shocked by its vibration compared the the V.Lite, as I really considered it as stiff raquet.I had the occasion to play a few balls with 2 of the latest Dunlop sonic core pro raquets, the pro 130 and the evolution 130. As you can guess my prefence goes with the pro 130 but it is nowhere near as stiff or maneuvrable as the V.Lite 115.So to summarize, If you are already a decent squash player, you like a fast front game, your prefence goes to head light raquets without sacrificing power or consistency, this is THE raquet, imho. Francesco Lippi on 2020 Asics: Hi,what about new asics gel court control FF ? Thanks Lloyd on Black Knight Ion Cannon PS: I've been playing with this racket for a fair while now. I have the newer 2020 version and the one before that. Both of them are fantastic rackets in my opinion. I wouldn't say I normally get on with tear drop rackets but this one has been my most successful venture into tear drops by far. They're evenly weighted, absolutely not head heavy as that is what I used to play with. Incredible power and great accuracy. I would totally recommend to anyone looking to move from traditional shaped rackets over to teardrop and to people looking for a good powerful racket who perhaps have a short punchy swing. Greig Mcleod on Stellar Squash Rackets: I recently purchased a Stellar "Stealth" racket - they are well made (it has survived my wall bashing's) and it looks great.I previously used a graphene cyano 135xt - which is known for power but I would say the Stealth out powers it !!! The "sweet" spot is a good size and the grip is great. The Stealth say 125gm but with strings the Stealth weighs in at 150gm. The string pattern is a 12x17 and strung at around 24/24 pounds. Manuel on Tecnifibre Dynamix VP: I just strung two of my carboflex x125. One with the 305 1.10mm (which is my go to string) and one with the Dynamix VP 1.15mm.Same machine, same settings. The VP appears to be at least as elastic as the 305 even though its a bit thicker. Biggest difference is the surface feel. The 305 is smooth and the surface feels more robust. In comparison the VP feels more "sticky". It has a certain waxy feel to it and the main string "sing" when you pull through the crosses. Furthermore the surface seems to be more fragile or more as a coating since I already can see spots where it frays (but no damage at all). Also at the knots the VP looks more multi-layered whereas the 305 is "one" string.(But not as Ashaway where you see a distinct core and mantle).I expect that the VP will fray much faster than the 305 so the durability is smaller. Therefore I thick they made it in 1.15mm and not in 1.10mm. I will try them both next week in the court and keep you updated.Feels aside, the black string looks killer in the x-speed.Best regards,Manu This is a squash gear website that I run in my spare time. My mission here is to build a side business around helping people learn about squash equipment and find the gear that suits them best. You can learn more about Squash Source here.Squash Source does not sell squash equipment, but instead links to online squash stores where you can buy equipment. The good thing about this setup is I can post gear from all around the world, without having to keep products in stock. The way this site makes money is primarily through those links to stores. Sometimes if you buy through one of the sponsored links here, Squash Source will get a commission on the sale. Other times, in exchange for linking to them, stores will send me squash equipment, which I review on the site.So far, I have linked to squash stores in Australia, Canada, Denmark, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Sweden, USA, and the UK!
