A Message to Legion Members, and our Readers, about this Time of Crisis.

Dear Brothers and Sisters, we thank you for your patience, and ask for your prayers,
during this coronavirus pandemic, and the massive California wildfires.
Our SF Senatus work continues, with the upcoming 8th Senatus Conference!

A reminder that, because of the ongoing requirements that people must wear mask in public, this Conference
will not be held live, but rather as a Zoom Meeting, using the Zoom web technology, online.
If you have never worked with Zoom, it is easy to learn, and online training is available, and as an added
bonus, it may be used with family or social groups later.

The Senatus thanks Fr. Goode for his continuing support as Senatus Spiritual Director, especially since he is also the Pastor of St. Francis, a busy parish San Francisco Senatus Member? Your latest Council Report is available in News Notes format, for reading, and printing out! Council Reports Also, the Senatus thanks Br. Sr. Miller, for their continuing hard work with the Spanish Curia and community,
and Br. Marten for his Liaison work with the Archdiocese for the Rosary Rally.

Legion of Mary Final Prayer Prayers for the Beatification of the Servant of God Frank Duff

God our Father, You inspired your servant Frank Duff with a profound insight into the mystery of Your Church, the Body of Christ, and of the place of Mary the Mother of Jesus in this mystery. In his immense desire to share this insight with others and in filial dependence on Mary he formed her Legion to be a sign of her maternal love for the world and a means of enlisting all her children in the Church's evangelising work.

We thank you Father for the graces conferred on him and for the benefits accruing to the Church from his courageous and shining faith. With confidence we beg You that through his intercession you grant the petition we lay before You . ............... We ask too that if it be in accordance with Your will, the holiness of his life may be acknowledged by the Church for the glory of your Name, through Christ Our Lord, Amen.

An Intention of the SF Senatus for the year 2018:

Lord, please give all Catholics the courage and strength to stand by their Church, and to bring the Church to those who need to come to God, and to help those Catholics who have fallen away, so that they might return to grace.

And you, the bystander, you are needed for the effort to bring all to the Church.
You can best do this, by joining the Legion of Mary...

And when the days of Pentecost were drawing to a close, they were all together in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a violent wind coming, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. And there appeared to them parted tongues as of fire, which settled upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in foreign tongues, even as the Holy Spirit prompted them to speak (Acts 2, 1-4).
