If any of you noticed yesterday, I added a new page on the top of the blog. It is the new "Controversy" tab. I didn't really mean for it happen but after my post yesterday, I thought it might be a great idea to share my opinions on the latest "news." (Sorry for all the quotations.) I had written yesterday's post about my rant on the music industry last week when I was listening to the radio. If you would like the read more into it, check out the post.
I was skeptical about posting when I realized that people might not take it well. After going on Twitterlast night, I sawa music blog that I read share another blog post from another blog writer (crazy chain) about "Promote Musicians, Not Gender." It was then that I decided the time was right. And that's how the "Controversy" tab came to be. :)

I'm BA-ACK! I apologize but school has been so busy with the end of the year. The seniors left yesterday... :'(

The good news: SPRING! Last night was super weird because we got a freak rain storm. The streets were literally turned into a little river. Crazy. I have been so sick this week. And just saying, I don't ever get sick, like, ever. So I thought today I'd do a prom nail trend that I've seen throughout my school and around Tumblr. Since I didn't think people from my school would appreciate me putting their nails on my blog, so I went to Tumblr. Even though it's not Tuesday I had to figure that Thursday is close enough.
So what's the big trend? A French manicure. Oh, but not just any French manicure. It's a French manicure with a line of a different color under it (just look at the pictures instead of pondering over my description) and most commonly with the accent nail done with the color of their prom dress in a small detail, like a couple zebra stripes. Excuse the feet. But have I got an exciting post for you (or least I was excited for you to see this). I recently got these really cute flats from Kohl's. You can get similar ones here.
I think white is a great statement color. It can grab attention just as much as any bright color, not to mention it goes with anything! But you don't have to limit yourself to shoes. Go with a bright white top or dress to grab attention at any event. It would even work as a great color for prom. Add CommentNational Record Store Day

Today I had to wake up extra early to get a good spot in line at my local record store. I hope you guys all went out and supported your locals. Sadly, they didn't have the record I wanted but my sister got the Phosphorescent record. Literally over the past few days, my collection has grown twice its size.
