I love going there! Laura cuts my hair, and does an amazing job. I love the hot aromatherapy towels they wrap on your face while giving the best scalp massage in town. It's so relaxing, that after a stressful work day I book an appointment just for a scalp massage.

Great atmosphere, wonderful service! My entire family goes here. We started when my son was 1 1/2, and needed a cut. Charity has been so wonderful with him! My husband and I started going shortly after. The owner is always there and greets you with a huge smile and the rest of the stylists are all very friendly as well. The decor has a cool, masculine vibe but is very comfortable and appealing to women also. Highly recommended!

Store is great, staff is great, value is great! I love going here and drinking too many of their Keurig coffees. I try to pop in when I'm driving through town and they always find time for me. Love this place, highly recommended for other bearded men. The quality of their craft should be televised!

I’ve been going to Hair and Body Mechanix since it opened, (and have been a customer of Aaron’s for years before that. ) The shop itself is comfortable and inviting, with a friendly, skilled and professional staff. The level of step above what you’ll get anywhere else. I personally look forward to the scalp massage I receive with every haircut, and the hot lather shave for the back of the neck is the perfect way to end a very enjoyable overall experience. In addition to being a great value, particularly for the excellent level of service, Hair and Body Mechanix is fully stocked with about every product you could ever need.

I've never been one to feel anything but awkward in social places/social situations, but from my first visit to Hair and Body Mechanix, I was made to feel welcome and important, as well as free to be myself. Always treated with respect, but more importantly for me, make me feel like I belong there and greet me like an old friend stopping by to say hello.

I recently moved to the Skagit Valley and several friends highly recommended the Hair and Body Mechanix. They were so right! At other places it took about a week after the hair cut to start realty looking good. Aaron has been cutting my hair ever since, it looks and feels great immediately. Thanks Aaron.

By far the best haircut and hair cut experience I have ever had. The shop itself is awesome. It has a great industrial atmosphere with huge ceilings that make the place feel bigger than it actually is. Everything is laid out nicely with plenty of space and good flow. Aaron and his staff are true professionals. Every cut gets a wash, hot towel, and scalp massage! I've only had a couple different people cut my hair (usually Aaron) but everyone listens to what I want and I always walk out of there feeling like I got exactly that. Close attention to detail, friendly people, and a great value, what more could you ask for!The only bad thing about the shop is that it sets your expectations so high. I have lived in the SF bay area for a little over a year now and I have not been able to find anything that comes close to what Aaron and his team have to offer. I wish he would open up a shop down here!

Being quite follically-challenged, I find going to get a haircut is a nuisance. It won't grow on top, but the sides and back are growing just fine?? I dislike paying full price when I only have a third of the hair other guys do. But H Dave Slater

Hands down best place for a haircut in the valley. Friendly staff, great atmosphere, and quality haircuts. Oh and the hot face towel with eucalyptus oil and scalp shampoo and massage is great too!

My brother-in-law recommended this place for me. I am very picky with my hair stylist and at first, I was reluctant since the place is geared towards men, but ladies have no doubt they can cut and style women hair too.

My husband Bryan walked in today and said, "How can we tame this?" As he pointed to his unruly facial hair, and Trista knew just what he needed! She trimmed him up, made him a little more presentable for me, and even taught him an awesome concoction of beard wax and oil to keep his beard pretty and soft!

I will never go anywhere else for a shave and a haircut again. I've been twice and was more than pleased each time! Trista took amazing care of me on my first visit and Aaron did likewise on my second. It's not just a shave and a haircut! It's a luxurious experience in a clean, professional and masculine environment... Straight razor shave with scented hot towels, shampoo and condition with scalp massage... LOVE IT! The cost is beyond reasonable and the service is second to none. There's a reason why they won Best of Western Washington in 2013! Why? Because they ROCK!

Trista foiled, cut, hot toweled my face while washing my hair and had a deep conditioning treatment done. Love my hair cut and the way it turned out. I was so relaxed that I kept dozing off while she was putting the foils in, and while she was cutting my hair, Thank you again Trista!

Aaron and the rest of the crew are absolutely top notch. Affordable prices and a great haircut. What else could you ask for? The shampoo and hot towel are a definite highlight. Even though it's a little bit embarrassing, ask about getting your nose hairs waxed. Quick and painless. Definitely worth a few extra bucks.

Best haircut in town hands down. Treat yourself to a hot towel face wrap, wash and shampoo with a scalp and neck massage and a straight razor neck shave. Plus you get a great haircut by some of the nicest people you're likely to ever meet.

Way better than Sport Clips, always can get an appointment quick. Awesome upscale barber shop with cool decor! We are moving south of Mt. Vernon but will most likely still make the trips for haircuts. Aaron and Laura always do a great job!

I just gotta say that this is a great place. My son has sensory issues, so things like getting a haircut can be difficult for him. Laura is SO good with him. He walked in today without hesitation and was all smiles the entire time. Aaron cuts my hair at the same time Laura cuts my son's, and after my son was finished with his haircut Laura overheard him talking about spaceships, so she went and sat with him and my wife and they pretended to fly a spaceship. How cool is that? These are great people and I highly recommend them.
