Online Learning for 2020-2021 As we prepare for the fall semester in this time of a national pandemic, the Branson School District is drafting a comprehensive plan for the new school year that will contain information about transportation, activities and other elements of school designed to provide a safe, secure environment for teaching and learning. This comprehensive plan includes opportunities for seated and online learning. Comments (-1) Summer School Safety Guidelines Branson Public Schools is excited to welcome students back to campus on July 6th for Sail into Summer 2020. The District has taken steps to prepare for the health, wellness and safety of our students and staff participating in summer school. Comments (-1) New Student Enrollment August 3-7 Registration for the 2020-2021 school year is scheduled August 3-7 for students new to the Branson School District. Enrollment forms for all prospective students in grades K-12 may be completed between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. New student registration will be held in the district offices (lower level) located at 1756 Bee Creek Road. This process streamlines district procedures and provides families with a more convenient way to share enrollment information with the district. Comments (-1) Athletic and Activity Guidelines for Field Usage With the Shelter in Place for Branson being lifted, the Branson School district will use the following guidelines regarding facility use. These guidelines are based off of Governor Parson’s recovery plan for the state of Missouri and recommendations by the Missouri State Athletic Association. Comments (-1) Healthy Tips for Home and School The following information is being provided in an effort to give families accurate information regarding COVID-19, along with best practices for maintaining a healthy environment at school and at home. Comments (-1) Thompson Honored at MAESP Meeting Stacie Thompson, assistant principal for Cedar Ridge Elementary and Cedar Ridge Intermediate, was honored at the Missouri Association of Elementary School Principals annual meeting held last weekend. She was named Outstanding Assistant Principal of the Year representing the southwest region. Comments (-1)
