Appeal is an a cappella vocal ensemble based in the USA. This internationally-acclaimed group has won multiple awards including the 2012 National Harmony Sweepstakes and recently their second consecutive Grand Prize Championship at the Moscow Spring A Cappella Festival. Known for their sharp comedic timing and rock-and-roll energy, the members of Six Appeal have performed with notable artists such as Thundercat, Andy Grammer, Michael McDonald, and Kenny Loggins, and have been the featured performers at the Vanity Fair Oscars Party in Hollywood for the third year in a row. The Vocal Music Boosters meet the second Tuesday of each month at 7:00 pm in the UAHS Orchestra Room. Booster meetings are scheduled as follows: April 14, and May 12. The 2019 winner of the Keith Krieger Award is Kate Glaser. The Keith Krieger Fund was established through the Upper Arlington Education Foundation by friends and family in memory of the late Keith Krieger, a member of the Class of 1976. Keith's classmate and friend, Dan Minutilli, set up this fund after Keith passed away, and has worked hard to endow it annually so that UAHS seniors can be honored in Keith's memory. The fund awards an annual music scholarship for a student who will continue in the performing arts in higher education. Vocal music and/or piano are given priority.
