This project will study the effect of the coronavirus crisis on formal economic activity and tax collection in Kenya, evaluate the impact ofchanges to tax policy in reaction to it and explore low-cost interventions that could encourage tax compliance. This project evaluatesthe effects of greater public awareness on electricity reliability to health servicesproviders in Kenya. The study estimates the relative impacts ofthree different implementation methods of small enterprise emergency financial assistance in Ghana. Adhvaryu, Kala and Nyshadham (2020) study the adoption of energy-efficient LED lighting in garment factories around Bangalore, India.
