All practices on Monday (5th), Tuesday (6th) and Wednesday (7th) will proceed as normal until the pause comes into effect. Hockey Saint-Laurent is dedicated to making sure our kids love the game of hockey, learn how to play the game and make some friends along the way. Tournaments The Hockey Saint-Laurent annual tournament has been postponed until all renovations at Raymond Bourque are complete. Camps Hockey Saint-Laurent offers pre-season camps, winter holiday camps and end of season camps.The U7 division (formerly called Pre-Novice) is for kids who are 5 or 6 years old (as of Dec 31, 2014 or Dec 31, 2015). Hockey Saint-Laurent also offers limited spaces to 4 year old (as of Dec 31, 2016) children provided that a parent accompanies the child on the ice. This program introduces basic hockey skill development and coordination and seeks to build a love for the game. Players do not have to know how to skate to sign up.The U9 division (formerly called Novice) is for kids 7 or 8 years old (as of Dec 31, 2012 or Dec 31, 2013). This next level is still designed for beginners and builds on the basic hockey skills they learned in U7. The program is progressive in nature and it is designed to build love for the game, personal and team skills, knowledge of hockey and coordination. Players do not have to know how to skate to sign up.The U11 division (formerly called Atom) is for kids who are 9 or 10 years old (as of Dec 31, 2010 or Dec 31, 2011). U11 is designed to build basic hockey skills and is progressively planned by coaches to move players from basic to competitive play. As part of the transition from the U9 level, U11 teams start playing full ice and keep score during games. The U11 division is also the beginning of tiered teams from the competitive "rep" to house levels. There are U11 evaluations or "tryouts" hosted at the start of the year which facilitate player placements.The U13 division (formerly called PeeWee) is for kids 11 or 12 years old (as of Dec 31, 2008 or Dec 31, 2009). It is designed to build hockey skills and be progressive in development. This level caters to players who want to play recreationally and competitively. There are U13 evaluations or "tryouts" hosted at the start of the year which facilitate player placements.The U15 division (formerly called Bantam) is for kids 13 or 14 years old (as of Dec 31, 2006 or Dec 31, 2007). It is designed to progressively improve personal and team hockey skills for early teen children. This level caters to players who want to play recreationally and competitively. There are U15 evaluations or "tryouts" hosted at the start of the year which facilitate player placements.The U21 division (formerly called Junior) is for kids 17 to 21 years old (as of Dec 31, 1999, Dec 31, 2000, Dec 31, Dec 31, 2001 or Dec 31, 2002).The U18 division (formerly called Midget) is for kids 15 to 17 years old (as of Dec 31, 2003, Dec 31, 2004 or Dec 31, 2005). It is designed to progressively improve personal and team hockey skills. This level caters to players who want to play recreationally and competitively. There are U18 evaluations or "tryouts" hosted at the start of the year which facilitate player placements.
