JoeAgustin is a NRA Training Counselor and Instructor providing NRAapproved firearms training. He has been instructing education andtraining courses for the past 22 years and is qualified to providetraining in a number of disciplines including NRA Basic courses forinstructor qualifications. He is also a NRA Chief Range Safety Officer,a Master Hunter Education Instructor with the Virginia Department ofGame and Inland Fisheries and serves as a Department Certified RangeSafety Officer. Additionally, Joe has served as Chief FirearmsInstructor for the Virginia Beach Rifle and Pistol Club, Agustin founded Civilian Firearms Training in 1992 as a way to educateand train law-abiding citizens in the safe and effective use offirearms. As an NRA trained firearms instructor and training counselor,he presents civilians with innovative training techniques in thepistol, rifle, shotgun, and personal protection arenas. Joe is a MasterHunter Education Instructor with the Virginia Department of Game andInland Fisheries and a former City of Virginia Beach Hunter EducationCoordinator. In addition, Joe is a Virginia Department of CriminalJustice General Instructor. Currently, he works at Camp Allen WeaponsRange providing training to Navy, Air Force and Army personnel in theirfirearms qualifications. He is passionate about sharing his firearmssafety knowledge with others and uses a number of teaching techniquesto ensure that individuals are safe, knowledgeable, and confident inthe use of firearms. Through his experiences and education working in anumber of different fields, he brings a myriad of communication andtraining techniques. is available for private instruction in requalifying, remedial trainingfor law enforcement personnel, youth group instruction and any othergroup that would like a tailored program.
