My usual hours are now 16 pm, six days a week (with the closed day varying from week to week). Please call ahead to check for weekly variations the schedule; my hour are here on my website, on my voicemail, and posted in front of the shop. Id also be happy to make an appointment at a time convenient for you.

DO YOU BUY BOOKS FROM INDIVIDUALS?
I hear this question every single day. Yes, of course I do! Thats where I get 99% of my stock. I dont usually buy entire collections; I carefully choose books that suit my shop.

**Please do not bring in books to sell without speaking to me first.**
The easiest way to show me what you have is by taking digital photos of the books on shelves or in stacks, so that the spine titles can be read, and emailing those to me. If you have fewer than a dozen books, call and read me the titles. Donations are also welcome!

It has been my great pleasure to serve up a delicious selection of cookbooks to customers near and far for the past 23 years.

Still (and always) available: Private shopportunities! If you’d be more comfortable being the only customer in the shop, please don’t hesitate to MAKE AN APPOINTMENT outside my regular hours. You can have a half-hour or one-hour slot at your convenience and not worry about sharing space with other shoppers. Please call me or send an email and we’ll set up a time.

GIFT CERTIFICATES can be ordered by phone or email. Make an investment in the future for friends and family who can’t shop in person right now.

THANK YOU to everyone who has visited during the past year (I reopened on June 22, 2020). To those who prefer to place email or phone orders, I can still do local deliveries by bike as well as shipping books (as always).

Please come to the shop only if youre feeling well. Please continue to wear a mask, even if you are fully vaccinated (Ive changed my policy again since hearing scary reports about the Delta virus).

My hours are posted here, and you can also check them by phone. (But NEVER rely on whats posted on Googleits invariably wrong.) Remember that my hours are not the same every single week. If you cant come in during open hours, make an appointment for a time that works for you.
