Dear Colleagues,After significant change in time schedule and way of running the conference, finally the 12th Scientific meeting of Asian Australasian Society of Stereotactic and Functional Neurosurgery (AASSFN) was held in Gyeongju Korea in 17 – 19 September 2020 and completed successfully.It was the first hybrid meeting with combination of online and onsite attendance. There was no significant trouble related to online connection and we could recognize that new way of international academic conference can be established. We learned many things through the hybrid conference and online and offline communication is complementary to each other. On behalf of the board members of executive committee and local organizing committee I deeply appreciate all the members for strong support and active participation.Even in the midst of the COVID19 outbreak it is certain that development and introduction of innovative technology is continuing without interruption in our field of stereotactic and functional neurosurgery.I hope AASSFN will do more important role in effective communication and spread of new knowledge and technology in the area of Asia and Australia.
