Our trees in the community

The Arbor Day Festival gives people direct experience in understanding diverse ways to sustain our natural environment. A fun-filled festival with tree giveaways, crafts, hands on-activities, tree trivia, live music, food trucks, tree care and rain barrel demonstrations and other fantastic creative expressions that support trees and the natural environment. What We Do

Our mission is to preserve and restore

the natural environment to bring harmony to all life

We provide a hands-on approach to teaching about the environment. Whenever we can, we take students out into nature. We now have environmental videos available for virtual learning.

A great project for families with school aged children, budding environmentalists, environmental science class K-12, nature seekers and anyone who wants to work to preserve and restore our natural environment.

Are you adding native plants to your yard this fall? Looking to conserve water for use in your existing gardens? In our rain barrel workshop, located in Raleigh, North Carolina, you can make a 55 gallon rain barrel to install at home and start your own water conservation program. Not in Raleigh, see our instructional video on how to make a rain barrel.

From December to April, we give out native North Carolina bare root tree seedlings. Partner with us to hold a tree giveaway in your community. Plant a tree seedling every year to help combat climate change.

Are you looking to reforest a plot of land, plant trees in your neighborhood, school, local park, or an abandoned lot? We can help organize the planting, gather the needed materials and provide onsite guidance to properly plant the trees.
