In brief, you should know the following about us: We started out in 2007 as Research and Investigations of the Paranormal (yeah a mouth full) but changed our name in 2008 to Colorado Springs Ghost Hunters. We have been responsible for providing outstanding Professional and Scientific Investigations and Training ever since. We still carry and have licenses in both names. All of our members are trained before we send them to your home or business. Our specialty is in the area of Paranormal Investigations (Ghost Hunting if you will). Our regular customers particularly value our Professionalism and Scientific approach. We do not use Psychics/Mediums. We do not believe you can prove the paranormal with the use of the paranormal. The only conclusions and research we will concede to is scientific.

Our members are devoted to finding the truth for every situation. We are a professional group who do not use Psychics/ Mediums, but rely on hard physical evidence that is recorded. If we have someone in our midst that believes they have the gift then they are encouraged to write it down on a form, turn it in, and not share with the group. Upon evidence review and a review of historical background we can then maybe validate their feelings. Our members have backgrounds in law enforcement, advanced educations in a variety of fields; includes communications, electronics, psychology, genealogy, therapeutic recreation and history.

When we schedule an investigation we send in up to 6 investigators and a large assortment of electronic equipment and recording devices. If it is a large venue we may have up to 2 extra command center professionals. Each case is tended to according to the needs of the family or business. We do approx. 3-5 investigations a month. We will travel out of our area depending on availability.
We approach things from a professional scientific aspect. We look to debunk information then use the electronics of the field to help us examine the evidence and determine its origins. We also offer full support for people who are experiencing paranormal phenomena. We work diligently to inform and educate the general public about what we do and why it matters.

From time to time we have space for new members. Currently we are looking for Command Center Techs, people to work behind the scenes, Historians and Evidence Analyzers. Remember you work for free. We work for free. We provide a service to our clients.The equipment we use consist of K-2 Meters, Digital and Film Cameras, Audio Digital and Analog Recorders, EMF Detectors, IR Thermometers, DVRs with IR Cameras, Motion Detectors, Microphones, Full Spectrum Digital Camera, PC with sound software (Cool Edit Pro or Audacity) to analyze audio files. We do not alter a piece of evidence, EVER. Unless evidence is captured on camera, video or audio, it is merely a personal experience that cannot be substantiated.

When we are done an investigation, we analyze the evidence and all data collected. We use a two or more person method and various computer programs. We will then make 2 DVD disc’s, one for the file and one for the client. This disc will have DVR, Video and Recorded EVPs, Photos and a Final Summary Report for the client to keep and review.

As a final note: We love your pets, we have some as well, but they cannot be in the home or business the night of the investigation. They need to be taken to a safe place away from their home. The atmosphere of your home or business needs to be controlled so that we know that little Fluffy or Max did not make those sounds, bumps, scratches, etc. Most of all we wouldn’t want to step or sit on them while we are investigating in the dark.
