Anthony Terlizzi joined CTL in 2018 as Chief Performance Officer for Direct Service awards. In this capacity, Anthony is responsible for Workforce Operations, New Business Development, and Performance Management for our Government division. Anthony has extensive WIOA and TANF experience, previously overseeing large, multi-site workforce operations, particularly in New York City. Anthony graduated from the University of South Florida with a BS in Finance. Dana Fenwick

Dana N. Fenwick is a Delaware native with a passion for people. She joined Career Team in 2007 and assisted in opening the Delaware location. Dana has over twenty years of Case Management expertise and has managed TANF, SNAP, and WIOA contracts in Delaware. Dana has also served as the National Director of Case Management Services for Career TEAM and was recently promoted to Chief Service Delivery Officer. She is committed to ensuring that underserved populations have opportunities to become self-sufficient and feel good about being productive members of society. She is committed to closing the opportunity gap, one client at a time. Dana feels that no contribution is too large or too small and is willing to do whatever it takes to achieve continued growth both personally and professionally. “Mr. J” serves as Director of Business Services and as a master connector, ensures process and relationships with national hiring authorities. In addition, he works with the CEO and Program Directors with the goal of building career services capacity, maximize placement of clients and providing assistance to individual teams or Job Developers. His purpose is to maximize candidate placement by engaging the business community, employers and clients in long-term partnerships. Danielle graduated sum cum laude from Quinnipiac University and has been accepted to the prestigious Yale Graduate School of Management. As Chief Business Officer, Micaela brings a background in higher education, coaching, and career development to the organization. Micaela has observed the Department of Education’s shift toward the gainful employment of our graduates. As a result, what excites her the most about her role is sharing Career Team’s 20 years of Workforce Development experience with partner institutions and, ultimately, with graduates. Prior to CTL, she served as National Director of Sales for McGraw Hill Education. Micaela completed the Accomplishment Coaching leadership and coaches training program in 2013 and she is also a certified trainer in the Aha! Process, Bridges Out Of Poverty program. Jessica Issoufou

Barleh “Jessica” Issoufou joined Career TEAM in 2019 as Executive Director in Washington, DC. Jessica has 15 years of management, sales, and contracting experience working in the for-profit, non-profit and government sectors. Previously, Jessica managed the group purchasing and strategic sourcing of the Community Purchasing Alliance’s 75 member community institutions in the Washington DC region. Jessica’s focus was growing membership in the MD-DC-VA metro region and building new programs to meet the needs of members. Prior to that, she led a team at EDSI where she assisted with the procurement of $2 million in annual contracts and oversaw the daily operations of the TANF program that enrolled over 1,500 program participants each year. Jessica holds a bachelors degree in Political Science and International Studies from Elmira College in NY and Masters in Social Work from the University of Pennsylvania. Charles Botts

National Director of One Stop Operations & Corporate Training

Charles is the Director of Training at Career TEAM. Charles first joined Career TEAM in 2015 as a subject matter expert working on the very contract he is now directing. In his current role Charles manages the online learning and employer engagement activity for the Capital Workforce Partners One Stop contract, providing services and support across the region in six office locations; New Britain, Bristol, Enfield, Manchester, East Hartford and Hartford. Charles has a passion for professional development and uncovering hidden potential. Peggy Montalvo

As the Chief Financial Officer, Peggy is responsible for all financial activity for Career Team and Career Edge.  She brings over 30 years of domestic and international finance experience in a broad range of industries. Most recently she worked for the largest franchisee of Planet Fitness – managing financial activities for over 100 clubs in the US and Canada.  She spent 11 years with Deloitte assisting clients with Strategy and Financial Operations - implemented systems, controls and process improvements to streamline and automate financial operations to improve productivity and performance. Peggy graduated from the University of Southern New Hampshire with a BS in Finance & Information Technology and received her MBA from Sacred Heart University.  Peggy enjoys spending time with her husband Isaac and their daughter Megan. Dr. Robert Boone

Dr. Boone served as President/CEO of the South Central Workforce Development Board and its non-profit enterprise, Employward, Inc.  based in Bowling Green, Kentucky.  Dr. Boone is recognized as an expert in innovative program design and delivery in workforce development; organizational strategic planning and transformation; and the orchestration of technology platforms to create large-scale solutions, resulting in performance-based and customer-centered workforce systems.Prior to regional workforce board service, Dr. Boone served in workforce development leadership capacities in the post-secondary education and private health care sectors in Kentucky and Georgia, respectively.Dr. Boone holds a bachelor of science (BS) degree in psychology (with an emphasis on Industrial/Organizational Psychology) from The University of Georgia; a master of public administration (MPA) in non-profit management and community development from Morehead State University, where he graduated at the top of his class and was recognized as the MSU College of Business and Public Affairs' 2014 "Outstanding Graduate Student;" and a doctorate in education policy, measurement, and evaluation (EdD) from the University of Kentucky, with dissertation research focusing on work-based learning opportunities (WBLOs) as an impactful mechanism to transmit workplace-specific cultural capital to “first-generation career seekers,” a term he coined based on this research. Favorite Core Value: #8 - We provide WOW!

Marci is a tactful Human Resources professional that values self-discipline and delayed gratification – both of which had been instilled in her as a child.  She is a firm believer in Sheila Renee Parker’s quote, “The only limits that exist are the ones we set for ourselves.  Break that vicious cycle and go beyond.” With this in mind, Marci has fiercely broken barriers and pursued her goals.Marci specializes in recruitment, benefits education and administration, as well as HR compliance.  Marci began her journey in the Human Resources field while attending Iona College.  It was there she participated in internship/work experiences and led various diversity initiatives while earning her Bachelor of Business Administration in Management with Distinction.  She then pursued her Master of Business Administration in Human Resource Management with an Advanced Certification in Healthcare Information Systems from her alma mater.  Marci has always valued the importance of quality education and attributes her accomplishments to the many people that have mentored her along the way.Marci is also a member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and a Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP). Jessica Anduiza serves Pierce County, Washington as Executive Director for the WIOA Adult and Dislocated Worker contracts. Since joining Career TEAM in 2019, Jessica has worked hard and remained dedicated to the organization's mission while serving as a Career Advisor Lead then, upon her promotion, a Deputy Director. Jessica has over 15 years of management experience in the workforce, non-profit, and international development sectors. Billy Reddick

Billy started his Workforce Development career in 2009. He has extensive experience in all workforce programs, but his expertise is in WIOA programs. Billy has worked as a Case Manager, Program Manager, Deputy Director and Project Director over his 13-year career in Workforce Development. He also has Workforce Development experience in Oklahoma, Florida, and Texas. Billy is committed to providing services that will continue to change our participant’s family tree for future generations. Outside of work, Billy is a foodie, loves cooking, and traveling. Billy spends most of his time with his son Braylon. Angela Lowe

Executive Director

Angela Lowe joined the Career Team in 2022 as the Executive Director for the Upper Cumberland, TN Projects. She has worked in Workforce Development since 2011 when she began as a customer then moved into leadership roles such as Trainer, Regional Manager, and Operations Leader in TANF/WIOA programs. During her time, Angela has been creative in providing services to customers and learned about the importance of services vs. populations to focus on the resident’s individual goals. Angela also places a unique focus on employee development to successfully grow future leaders in the workforce professional sector. Not only does Angela understand the essential tools for providing services and training teams, she is also focused on creating a culture of positive, strategic, and national growth with Career Team, LLC. In her down time, Angela loves to spend time with her 4 children doing outdoor activities and adventures.

Matt Bacon

Executive Director

Matt graduated from Southern Illinois University Carbondale in 2007 with a degree in Marketing and a Master of Science in Education with an emphasis on Workforce Education and Development. Prior to attending SIU Carbondale, Matt served in the United States Air Force for 6 years, serving in the Kosovo Conflict, Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom. Beginning in 2007, he worked in the Registrar’s Office at SIU Carbondale. He most recently served as the Director of Secondary and Post-Secondary Programming with the South Central Workforce Development Board, bridging the gap between students and training, educational, and career opportunities across the Commonwealth. Regional Director, James Hughes stated, “We are excited about the ‘out of the box’ thinking Matt will bring to the region to provide robust pathways for job seekers.” Outside of work, Matt’s time is spent with his family, wife Summer, daughters Emmalea and Grace, sons Lukas and Jack and coaching youth baseball and basketball year-round.
